So apart from the two cards we got spoiled directly, we have this one as a new art (which leaves us with 3 new arts, we haven't seen yet). Could this be Chandra's Ignition? Would be nice to have a version with a different tone to it, I really like the card in itself.

Thanks to DarkNightCavalier from Heroes of the Plane Studios for this sick Signature.
I though “ultimate” would have put in great cards like Force of Will or Tarmogoyf, but fetchlands seems
So boring. I know fetchlands are staple powerful cards but it certainly lacks the “ultimate” feeling.
The Chandra “flame frame” seems like some Lame alter, but these 2 are already valuetown. Past in flames
Droppin in price is great. Hopefully for the “common” slots we get cubable burn cards in the new “any target” templating.
The Fetchlands... Well, I guess I'll have to get them, but the price OMG
No you don’t. This kind of thought process is exactly what people need to stop doing. Constantly high-fiving WotC for terrible things has done nothing good.
Well, I'm a collector (not a hoarder!), so I pretty much don't want to miss out, no. But I'm not high-fiving Wizards for this decision. If they'd sold it online, print to demand, like the other Secret Lairs, for $49.99, I'd be applauding.

But it's the ultimate cash grab move

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
The Chandra one is fine. The secret lair on the other hand is a complete joke that I swear Wizards must be trolling at this point.

Warriors, torch-bearers, come redeem our dreams
Shine a light upon this night of otherworldly fiends
Odin's might be your guide, divorce you from the sane
Hammer's way will have its say, rise up in their name
Scratching hag, you rake your claws, gnash your crooked teeth
You've taken slaves like ocean waves, now feel the ocean seethe
- Children of the Elder Gods by Poets of the Fall
Is the larger box and five hard cases supposed to be the financial justification for the more than 300% price increase on this over previous Secret Lairs?

This really rubs me the wrong way too. I was fine, nay, exuberant that they had another way to get alternative art foil cards to us with the original sales pitch WotC gave us: they would try and utilize artists and their unique styles in creating choice cards that otherwise wouldn’t be possible within a standard set or a set like Modern Horizons; and they created this series to be a print on demand series so as to prevent scalpers from buying up these sets to sell at an exorbitant price to those that really wanted them. I’m admittedly fine that the artwork after Seeing Visions and Kaleidoscope Killers is nothing more than what you would actually see on a mtg card, but they’re back to selling directly only to LGS where LGS can only get in ten boxes!?
Most people here who complained that LGS weren’t able to profit off of an exclusive like this is wrong, and WotC needs to go back to printing for demand.

Plus I heard there’s a supplement product that will reprint these that isn’t secret lair
Wizards: “Wizards does not recognize the secondary market”.
Also Wizards: “here’s 5 foil snow lands for $30. Here’s 5 nonfoil fetchlands for more than $165”.
GTFOH.
At prices north of $165, would it REALLY have been too much to at least get 2 sweet basics paired with each fetch of the type they could search for?
They made the effort to do each one by a different artist, and each one on a different recognizable plane, so they should have expanded upon that with each pair of basics, IE Seb does a sweet Ixilan Forest and Island.
One of each average joe price total is $277 dollars (rounded)
So you nag one you save $115 dollars
However they still screwed up on how to get this one it’s only available at game stores and each game store can only get 10
Not to mentioned they just confirmed they have them in the line up for reprints in a supplement set outside standard so if it’s the same art as secret lair that’s another facepalm
Super expensive cards, but at least people have a high demand for them and LGS get a cut in some way.
So "ok" , i can get behind that.
I already have my fetchlands and i probably never will pay money to get more of them.
There was nothing that prohibited LGS from getting a cut with the print for demand model these were originally created for. Some members here who own stores and bought these have even come forth saying they still sold out of all their boxes.

I love the Lorwyn Marsh but bit for such prices. Had one of these been Theros, wel, yes. A Theros Flooded Strand would be remarkable. But not as secret freaking lairs with such prices

This is faulty logic. You’re comparing this to secondary market prices. WotC claims they aren’t influenced or informed by the secondary market at all. If that were true this product would be in the $40-$50 price range. So we’re not saving $115, we’re losing at least $125.
At only 10 per store few if any will go for 165. It’s a joke
I fully expect the “MSRP”, because there isn’t one, to be $200. I could maybe talk myself into getting one of these for that price if this was printed for demand. This is another cluster**** by WotC.
Even if the art for these fetches are great and the fetches are always nice to have this is an easy skip for me. These fetches should have been reprinted in a Standard set by now. There's no reason to keep the enemy ones at such a price when the allied ones have showed up in Standard once again already. Near no one complained when the allied ones were reprinted, and in fact it was one of the best things they have reprinted. Better for the cards to be $8 to $12 than $50+.
The Chandra spellbook I am looking forward to, not so I can buy a box of it, but it drops the cards in them rather nicely. I was able to pick up a lot of great random cards from the Gideon spellbook for cheap.

I’m standing my ground besides I need proof this actually happens of someone loses that much on this (if they get it anyway)
I said it already for my case it’s bad is due to this one isn’t online it’s in stores and limited to 10 per store so even less than the mother secret lair
And there’s somewhat no point on getting this since they just confirmed they gonna be reprints in a upcoming supplament set but even in that supplament set and even if it’s print on demand it wouldn’t reduce the price drasticly enough to break even point

Doesn't contain prior secret lairs.
Seems like a fail in marketing.
No definition of ultimate is synonymous with anthology.
