Between GGTR, MOoT, and all of the plane shift articles, there's enough Magic planes available to do a pretty good job of that now. I hope that they continue to do plane shifts for more sets. I'd really like a Tarkir book/plane shift. Having an eastern themed setting would really help Monks not feel so out of place in 5e.
Eldraine would actually be like a 1000x better. Or even a Homelands one.
eldraine is already like every dnd setting ever that doesn't take place in a city.
i really like the idea of a campaign on theros. the whole gods being present thing can lead to a lot of fun shenanigans, so can escaping from the underworld or heading off into nyx.
i would actually play dnd again if they ever released supplements for campaigns on ulgrotha or sarpadia. no hesitation.
I think they should have at least given us a planeshift, something like for Dominaria for Eldraine which was another easy adaption to DND.

Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
