STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
While I have a playset of them already I wouldn't buy this if I didn't. At this point Secret Lairs are more annoying than anything. Nothing like seeing potentially new info on something and it turns out its another incredibly small FTV.
good art, love the character, would fit perfectly in my cubes and complete sets... But I am NOT supporting lootbox BS financially, sorry Wizards.
This is not a lootbox. Here you buy something and get exactly what you pay for. Look at the normal boosters if you want lootboxes. In other words, if you are against lootboxes, you could buy these, but not most everything else.

"Hail to the speaker, hail to the knower; joy to he who has understood, delight to they who have listened." - Odin
I'm actually not a fan of all these recent secret layers for a different reason. I thought the idea, as originally presented, was cool. Crazy out there art, limited time only. This one and the women one would fit right into most sets. Sure they're a little more refined, but it's not like the cats or the visions that would NEVER be printed. I feel like, with so many coming out, they're just falling back on normal magic art. Slow your roll wizards, plan out some truly original stuff, and I'm in.
Also, sorry to pile on, but yeah. That loot box comment wasn't thought through at all. If you want to go after the sales practice, I'd call it praying on peoples tendencies to impulse buy and manufacturing scarcity. But there's not a good, catch all, phrase to say those things... unless there is:)
Wizards: “What?! They locked the other thread at MTGS? Well, leak another drop, damnit!”
Looks like some companies are desperate to keep outrage and infighting among their customers going so that word about their product spreads more rapidly...
Im just going to say the same things about this as i have the last few. Too many products, predatory exploitative business practices. Short term profits over long term player sustainability. Yada yada yada.
That said, also feel this isnt deserving of 4 alt arts and a premium kit. Shes not that difficult to come by, isnt that expensive, and already has a sweet promo but uh sure, i guess, barf out some more product about it, the sheep will buy it

While I disagree with your underlying premise, I respect your right to that opinion. However, do you think it's really necessary to shame other people for how they spend their own money?
At 7.50 each this is actually a full $2 more expensive than the singles, clear rip-off etc etc this product I won't buy is emblematic of a systemic failure of this game RIP magic the gathering Mark Rosewater is a scam artist and this game is a scam. Local game stores are a scam.

If you hadn't already made your preferences obvious, I would assume this was an account hack. Probably not appropriate either way.
Come on, let at least members of marginalized groups express their preference when it comes to fictional characters and artistic depictions. There is no harm done here and not even any explicit language. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm speaking on anyone's behalf, it just bothers me a lot. This product is escapism as far as I can tell and I hope it can stay that way while still elevating more groups of people to an about even level of representation, even if that will take a few years.
I don’t have a problem with the secret lairs but I’m not a fan of Thalia it would have been cooler to have avacyn and the powerpuff girls.

Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone

When theyre getting ripped off, sustaining a poor business model that exploits them, and ultimately pushing the over all game to suffer?
Absolutely. Yes.
Additionally, if you feel ashamed about your purchase because of what someone else says about it? Well maybe skip that purchase next time because you clearly had no confidence in it or you wouldnt feel that way about iy.
Had to look up the word prurient, probably because I'm not a native speaker, although it might also be a term that is not in fashion right now. Please feel free to inform me if you like.
So, do we disagree that people should be free to express personal preferences in entertainment products that depict heavily explicit scenarios? Full disclosure, I would like MtG as a whole to at least come with a parental advisory disclaimer if you market it to age 13+ given aforementioned explicity of depictions. This is all illustration artwork and I believe everyone should be free to enjoy it as they like as long as they respect other people's boundaries.
So, again, given the gratuitous violence in this game,
which I will only decry in the context of providing it to kids in such a personally formative time of their character development without at least the explicit recommendation to play this game in the presence of responsible adults,
do you think it is stepping over boundaries if people use this community to express their personal preferences?
I am perfectly fine with you telling me this is too personal a question to ask, just to make that clear.

Honest man gotta honest. I certainly respect that, though obviously that's why I chose the username I chose.

I just hope you will be able to enjoy the underwear models of characters we will keep getting even if they are not from Theros.

Doesn't have to be explicit to be prurient.
