For those struggling with terminology, allow my experience of having a daughter to help:
Night-time: Dark outside
AnyPony: Any Player
Friend(s): Player's who contributed mana towards Nightmare Moon's ability cost.
Pegasi: Pegasus
Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity: Creature cards for the five 'Friends of Eternia'.
Nightmare Moon: Goddess of Night
Princess Luna: Nightmare Moon before becoming evil.
Princess Twilight Sparkle: The lead character of My Little Pony, she trains to replace Princess Luna's vacant position.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
I've got the box over the weekend and to my surprise the box set was not sealed wrapped. I'm not a major collector but I wonder what others thought about it. Or this is normal.
Just bought one off a re-seller... because i don't live in said delivered countries... and not too marked up which i was glad... hope to receive it soon!

They have the My Little Pony sleeves on Arena right now and no lie I've already purchased them.
Bring the legends to Arena too so I can stomp all over the multiverse with them.
The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.

Interesting. I just got mine yesterday but haven't opened it yet. Too busy. It does sound "loose" in the box but the shipping bix doesn't look crushed like in that YouTube video.
What does it say on the packaging where the cards were printed? I'm guessing they used the (U.S.) Texas printers to keep the costs lower. I kind of hoped they used the Japanese printers but... eh....

This was the same way that the HASCON promos were handled. I imagine the packaging was kept the same despite this product not having been distributed at a convention. Mine arrived okay, no shifting whatsoever, and no damage to the cards or packaging.
The cards were not damaged. And they put a nice bubble wrap around the cards, and the cards were placed inside a white box with paper. Not bad. But the box was not sealed wrap and you can remove the plastic cover to play with the cards and place them back and nobody would know. I know that sort of makes it a guessing game when it comes to unplayed in a package, because if it's sealed and the seal is broken you would know if the cards were played with.
I just find that a little odd.
Right now I'm looking at shadow box options. I do like the cards and I hope the next 'un' set is more like this...
Hopefully this product will be successful enough to prompt them to make a couple more box sets with the rest of the Mane 6, as well as Discord, Celestia, and a few other prominent characters!

That's "Equestria," Eternia is the he-man world.
Sorted. Don't know how I got them confused. Too much listening to Jim Sterling I think.

Draft the "'What Is This Nonsense?'" casual cube.
Managed to get on, purchase without crashes or long loading times, and got my confirmation email right away.
Pretty happy with this.

I was about to say, I was able to get the cards hours later but the mats straight up vanished within moments

I would really like a Discord card.
