Based on the two creatures with the "Adventure" mechanic (There is also Lovestruck Beast // Heart's Desire that reads: 2G 5/5 Lovestruck Beast Can't attack unless you control a 1/1 creature. // G Create a 1/1 White Human Creature Token.), my guess would be that they may be reusable abilities: it doesn't make much sense to sacrifice or discard Lovestruck Beast just to get a 1/1 Creature Token, and using it as an Aftermath-style card feels very weak.
So, my guess is for Adventure: "You may cast an Adventure ability once per turn if you have attacked with a creature this turn". It's my best bet: it may be some other kind of triggered ability though.
EDIT: Or it may be "As an additional cost to casting an Adventure spell, exile the creature it is printed on. That creature comes back into play at the start of your next turn."
I'm of the mind that you can cast the Adventure part of the card, which becomes a creature as it resolves. Cast Welcome Home for 5GG, create three Bear tokens, then it resolves and enters the battlefield as Flaxen Intruder.
However, the idea that you can turn the creature into a sorcery spell from the battlefield is interesting, and it makes sense for the mana curve.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Is there any chance these cards referencing adventure are actually DFCs? As in, activating Flaxen Intruder‘s adventure creates 3 bear tokens and flips to an enchantment or artifact named Welcome Home? Or would the card read, '...then transform X' if that were the case?

This wouldn't work, since the other card with this mechanic (Lovestruck Beast) has its cost for Adventure part lower than normal mana cost.
Good point. So the "sorcery that works like an activated ability" suggestion holds the most water so far. Another possibility is that it's...wait for it...a kicker variant where you pay the Adventure's mana cost as well and get both a sorcery and a creature out of the deal. But the "Adventure" subtype leads me to believe SpinifexV might just be on the money.

I think the layout might be more significant than we realize. My prediction is that when you first cast the creature from your hand, it enters the Battlefield without the ability on the right “page,” but with the ability to cast the Adventure for its mana cost. Then when the Adventure resolves, the creature loses that ability and gains the ability on the right “page.”
I think to make this work, “Adventure” would need to be an activated ability that either creates a Sorcery token on the stack with the text on the left “page,” or moves the creature from the Battlefield to the stack as a sorcery, and returns to the Battlefield as a creature without Adventure but with the ability on the right “page.”
It makes the layout make a lot more sense that way - you can’t get to the text on the right page before you’ve read through the text on the left page. But once you’re onto the right page, you can’t go back and “read” the left page again. The text only flows left to right. And I think the flavor works for both cards that way. Goldilocks starts out as a vanilla 1/2. Then when the bears come home, she attacks, breaks something, and gets eaten. Beast starts out as a 5/5 who can attack freely, but after he meets Belle, he falls in love and loses the ability to attack if she dies.
It looks like a riff off Evoke, except with Adventure the base is a creature that doesn't auto-sac.
On the card itself, dropping 7 power for 7-8 mana is a good way to close out a Limited game. It's also nice to see the Grim(m)dark-ness of those fairytales leaking into cards like this. My only worry is that those who want to see more Arthurian-based cards would be disappointed at how they're being outshone by fairytales?
Why, o why are not the bears 3/3, 2/2, and 1/1? I know they dont have multiple p/t combinations of the same type in the same set, but this would be a good exception.
Perhaps they want to synergize with 2/2 bear tribal? Still, what a missed opportunity.
Hey, maybe the three Bears in this case are frat roomies and little miss flaxen here just raided the honey brews.

I really like the design from a thematic point of view, but I'm not sure how to read it yet.
When does the Sorcery part get cast, how does the card handle Zone changes, what's the CMC?
from what I've seen some people say. You can choose to cast it as a sorcery or as a creature. If you choose the sorcery, the card get exiled. Then while it's exiled, you can pay the cmc of the creature side and put the creature into play.

That is exactly how it plays. You can try some of the cards out on Arena in The Brawl event that's going on right now.

Well, Bear Cubs are established as being 2/2s.
