So, these cards ARE in the collectors boosters as well, correct? I personally wasn't able to find that information in the article. I am going off of what the OP had stated.
super happy about arcane signet. don't care about the legend at all in the face of that. jesus. its not game breaking or anything, but its so exceptionally useful. replaces fellwar stone or mind stone just about everywhere or it just gets added in with those
I hope stuff like Arcane Signet being printed means the broken rocks (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Mana Crypt) eat a ban soon.
Wizards is not responsible for the commander ban list, so no.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if this became an every-commander-precon-inclusion taking over the slot that had, to date, been used on Sol Ring.
While they don't actually administrate either Commander banlist, it probably irks them that every commander deck they print is duelcommander-illegal out of the box and if they can conveniently change that (by no longer jamming Sol Ring in every deck, but replacing it with a card of comparable demand and utility), they might.
And as for Chulane good commander for commander it’s self but in reality it’s Roon of the Hidden Realm best friend
The literally have zero synergy.
It may be a cast trigger thing but flicker/bounce would want stuff like this since it can return to hand and still get ETB triggers again when rune is not available or some other bounce for the moment
Well they don’t look shy making these, going all in and doing cards that people may want to play.
I find it scare that they need to do things thinking about standard too, but I think those decks are a test too. This line is great:
"The first one was to help fix holes the Brawl format has. For example, if certain color combinations were missing or underrepresented, this would be a great place to deploy additional legendary creatures or planeswalkers for them.“
For the cards: they look good, the signet can enter in almost every commander deck. The legendary creature has a nice effect and because little teferi is around it is not a auto inclusion on bant decks with the elf lizard...
I would love if they started releasing Commander decks as companions to the Standard sets. Like, you design a few legends for the Commander format built around major mechanics or themes from the Standard Set. The Commander-specific cards generally feature mechanics that can't be done in the set proper. Say, commander planeswalkers, or command zone-related effects like Eminence for tribal sets. Say we return to Alara. Ajani and Tezzeret are natives of that plane, so they get Commander cards and decks. Ajani's deck features cards from Naya and Bant, Tezzeret's deck features cards from Esper and Grixis. The secondary commanders would be legends from that plane, one for each of the Shards featured in the decks. They could also use these Commander tie-ins as a chance to print cards that wouldn't fit in the set proper, like more tricolor legends in a world not themed around tricolor.
At any rate, these Brawl decks feel like a step in that direction.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
since this legendary theme might be casting creatures matter
you don't think were gonna get a panharmonicon esque card with the words "whenever casting a creature would cause a ability to trigger it triggers twice instead" if that happens never i mean never under any certomstance make it a colorless permanent that would make a emegency ban in edh because of the eldrazis being cast matters
And as for Chulane good commander for commander it’s self but in reality it’s Roon of the Hidden Realm best friend
The literally have zero synergy.

They are completely different. I doubt I’d play both in the same deck. I want to keep those cast triggers flowing to dig through my deck and drop lands.

I seriously doubt a cast trigger doubler would even be printed outside an eldrazi set. Eldrazi and card draw for casting creatures are the only examples I can immediately think of that even work with it. Most triggers are enters the battlefield, dies, or phase based. We're more likely to see upkeep trigger doubling which was basically done in time spiral by a card that gives you a second upkeep.
So, if that Arcane Signet comes in a collector's booster, you can pick one up in foil?
"For Throne of Eldraine, this will be the Buy-a-Box card, the new cards from the Planeswalker Decks, and the new cards from the Brawl Decks (more on this in a moment). This slot is going to be the catch-all for mechanically unique cards associated with the set, allowing collectors to get them here without having to purchase other products or participate in other promotions. These cards will be in non-foil." https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/making-magic/project-booster-fun-2019-07-20
I would never play Brawl over 1Vs1Commander on paper, but on arena, that's nice to have.
I was thinking about leaving arena for good (I'm not liking the current standard at all), but I might remain a little longer to see how they handle 1vs1Brawl there.
If they treat it like a per-se queue like the standard and the upcoming historical (or whatever it is called) formats (free to join and counts towards quests and daily wins), then I'll be mostly playing there. Even more so if they make a non-rotating version.

Hydroid Krasis is probably reason enough we don’t need that in this standard.

I do not think they care about Duel Commander. Duel Commander is a small portion of commander players.
Also, new players are excited to get their Sol Rings. People being excited trumps people who just don't need them and can sell them. It is not like people are showing up at Duel Commander events with precons.
That being said, I hope signet is printed in all commander decks the same way they have Command Tower.

They don't accommodate duel commander, so it probably does not bother them at all. Sol ring will stop being jammed in every deck the day the RC bans Sol ring.

Probably 0 decisions revolve around asking “what about 1v1 commander”?

can confirm that this applies to players too, aint nobody playin that (Please don't take this as a serious statement on the state of duel commander as a format in any way, my local playgroup is just not into 1v1 and prefers the tension and decision-making associated with multiplayer commander.)
Also, I feel Wizards strongly pushes Commander as a multiplayer format, so uh, yeah, not a factor at all, especially since that effectively assumes that they will be edited by players looking to 1v1. Commander precons are suited for Commander newcomers and veterans alike, right?
And on a Panharmonicon-like effect that triggers on casts... probably not. It would be good for Chulane but otherwise seems a little hard to justify right now. Post-rotation, pretty much the most notable cards that would be affected are Hydroid Krasis, God-Eternal Oketra, and Beast Whisperer. Admittedly, doubling GEO and Hydroid triggers is strong, but it just seems really narrow (and of course provides benefits largely to Chulane's deck...), while Panharmonicon itself works with so many more things.
Granted, I say this knowing no cards in ELD proper. Could be that all creatures in the set have on-cast triggers! I mean, I doubt that's the case, but my point stands: it's a guess at this point. And my guess is that it wouldn't be too helpful a thing inside of Brawl aside from this deck.
I highly doubt we’ll ever get an on-cast doubler. More often than not, on-cast triggers are designed to be harder to exploit. The trade off is they are mostly safe from any form of interaction. You’d be in pretty dangerous territory by having synergy with Aluren and Dream Halls.
I mean, I could be totally wrong, but it just doesn’t seem like something WoTC would do. Beyond that, there isn’t a ton of really great on-cast abilities aside from effects from cards already on the battlefield.
I said it earlier, but I’m stoked for Chulane. Easily my favorite Bant legend to be printed in some time.
I mean, it's no big secret what's going on here. To reach such a high number, I'm guessing that all reprints from those four brawl decks (which would include cards from all standard legal sets) are getting a number in this set. Honestly, I can't really imagine any other alternative.
With that said, that's kind of weird, isn't it?
Thinking back to those old modern event decks, I'm pretty sure that all of those cards still kept their original set symbols and numbering from their original sets, making it clear where those cards are legal. Instead, this card is giving a number of reprints a card number in the most recent standard set... which I'm guessing somehow doesn't extend their standard shelf-life? Like, if they reprint Chemister's Insight, that card will have a card number in Thrones and be released in an explicitly standard-legal product that is pushing new cards into standard but it will still rotate out of standard with Guilds of Ravnica... meaning that some of the cards in this set will be standard-legal longer than others in the same set.
...Has this ever happened (outside of bannings) before? Is there some other possibility I overlooked? Right now, it feels WEIRD?

Pretty sure the number is that high because these cards are standard legal so they are a part of Throne of Eldraine but not found within Draft Boosters.
