I think there's a coy joke in the name - being that Time Spiral as a set was already the name of a card, and now Morrodin Besieged, the set, has a whole card with the name. This adds to the list of cards that have the name names as existing sets. I think someone in another thread on here was compiling the list a few days ago...
Oh, I'm sure some kind of modification to the aetherflux reservoir combo. It's much better than reservoir: don't need to target opponent, costs less and you only need to dump things in the GY
It does need to target an opponent though. It says target opponent loses the game, not that you win the game.
That is a REALLY interesting take on the Khans vs. Dragons cycle from Fate Reforged. I wonder if there's going to be another cycle of these?
Would be cool to have a cycle with the different two faction sets. Also giving the name of the set to the card would be amusing.
Green- Rise of the Eldrazi picks between Zendikari and Eldrazi
Red- Aether Revolt picks between Consul and the Rebels
Black- War of the Spark picks between Ravnica and Bolas
White- dunno Kamigawa for spirits/humans? Or maybe Mercadian Masques for rebel/mercenary? Or Invasion for Phyrexia/Coalition? Kamigawa might work since it was the unusual set to have a white villain.
Anywho, that's a cute design. If only Mycosynth Lattice turned ALL cards (on the battlefield and elsewhere) into artifacts. Then with a 'geddon-style deck you could easily win.

I could see white being something like Journey into Nyx, and use Gods and Mortals, since Heliod was a major antagonist of that story.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Double dammit! I feel like this set is Magic at its fullest potential. No limitations, no minimum number of cards for a given mechanic. I want to draft this set so badly.

Yeah, but there's a world of difference between these two cards. Requiring five fewer cards, having an end step trigger, and looting are all a big deal. Also, artifacts place different deckbuilding constraints. Cheap, mana-producing artifacts can let their controller get away with a depressed land count, and eggs can quickly cycle through a deck.
A deck with these cards and Mirrodin Besieged could have some pretty epic plays/turns. Mirrodin side with Paradoxical makes guys and draws cards, then add Urza and all the Baubles, Petals and LEDs are Mox Sapphires (and the Mirrodin side tokens tap for blue too). This can then draw into more 0 drops and more Paradoxical to continue going off. Six mana cast Timetwister mode of Echo of Eons draw into Lion's Eye Diamond and more 0 drops, cast them then Tap LED for blue then sac it for three more blue and flashback Echo. Get Paradoxical Outcome, tap 0 drops repeat. Have 2 Training Grounds by now? Start using the Mind's Desire mode of Urza for 1 colorless, and if you hit an artifact tap it to float a blue and repeat. Hit Paradoxical? Have fun, hit Echo? Have more fun. Then you end up with Mirrodin Besieged and if no grave hate end step win with Phyrexians, and if there is grave hate keep going until you have a swarm of tokens to attack for lethal next turn. Have only one Mirrodin Besieged in the deck but you played it on Mirrodin for blocks to survive in the game? Paradoxical it back then switch it to Phyrexian. Seems fun.
Not sure if it is a real deck, but it seems as real as High Tide potentially to me.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
W Champions of Kamigawa - Mortals or Kami B War of the Spark - Ravnicans or Dreadhorde R Fate Reforged - Khans or Dragons G Battle for Zendikar - Zendikari or Eldrazi
And leave out the most iconic 2-sided conflict in the entirety of Magic? Shame on you.
You mean the Brothers' War? Also known as The Antiquities War? Or are you talking about the Phyrexian Invasion? See, I figure Invasion is about as evocative of a particular event as Apocalypse or Onslaught. And the only sets that directly involve the Brothers' War are Antiquities and Urza's Saga.
