dregscape sliver + basal sliver = "Exile a sliver you control: Return a sliver from your graveyard to the battlefield."
If you start with 4 mana available (possible via gemhide sliver) and two slivers on the battlefield, you can go:
Unearth Dregscape
Unearth Basal
Sacrifice a sliver for BB, unearth Lavabelly
Sacrifice a sliver for BB, unearth [any random sliver], ping for 1
Sacrifice the sliver you just got, get another one, ping for 1
And so on. The only difficulty is putting enough slivers in your yard in the first place.
It would be even more degenerate if the Cascade was on ETB instead of cast, as it would instantly chain itself into more slivers.
Cascade doesn’t use the battlefield in the first place. Instant and Sorcery spells with cascade wouldn’t be able to chain into each other, {hint: they do}, if it needed the battlefield.

Yeah, but The First Sliver isn't on the field yet when its cascade triggers so other Slivers don't have it when cast off it.
The actual set it's in. M15 had Sliver Hivelord and Sliver Hive so to me that would make perfect sense to introduce a tribal-focused prismatic land in that regard.

Nice the slivers look like Slivers again, not those weird things in M10
Yeah, they kinda look nice, but at the end of the day that's only skin deep and it doesn't seem likely we'll ever get anything thatplays like Slivers again.
I still feel the same as I did way back then, only more so: Asymmetrical Slivers are completely inexcusable and if Wizards won't make new symmetrical Slivers they shouldn't be making any more Slivers, period. We don't need them since we have Allies now, anyway.

i wished i had a sliver deck but they are so expensive :/
It's not worth it. Slivers are and will always be public enemy number 1 at the kitchen table. I've got the deck and I don't think I've ever had more than 3 slivers on the board. They are removal magnets.

My first thought when I saw this card was "I wonder how many people are going to play this wrong?"

Dormant Sliver gives you a card for each time you do this. Since Unearth gives Haste, you can also tap them for something (such as Gemhide Sliver for mana). I'm not sure if the Pulmonic Sliver interaction works, though.
Still, if you have a global source of Haste (multiple Sliver sources), you can hook up Basal Sliver + Gemhide Sliver + Sliver Queen to generate infinite mana anyway, but Lavabelly gives you more options to combo out.
Oh my God I’m through the roof with this announcement! Best news I’ve had all week! I got another Sliver hive I need to make now, my poor wallet! I will be supporting the secondary market to get these in foil, and now very likely draft/release date if they give special promos for that! I wonder how many other new Slivers are coming this way, they wouldn’t stop at these four brand new Slivers.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Yeah I wonder why wizards didn't include a special reminder text here considering the ability most certainly does not work like someone might expect on first trying to grok it. His cascade static ability won't be in effect when his own cascade triggers, but it will when other slivers trigger afterwards. So many people are going to just assume that the cascade loop starts when you first cast this sliver and play it wrong
Ahhh all the tribal stuff is making sense for this set and I am here for it all.
Also kudos to Cynthia Sheppard for breathing some interesting life for the old sliver look.

I was going to add, are these the design/art works for the Slivers that nearly made Dominaria? But reading the DailyMTG link, that doesn’t appear so. I wonder what those Slivers sitting in the drawer would have been like design-wise.

How exactly would this work? Unearth exiles any Sliver that tries to leave the battlefield, overwriting the Pulmonic ability, right?
