MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Easily the worst of the triumph cycle without a Nissa in play, but very good with one since it gets rid of the basic Forest requirement. Gets the whole Urzatron in one fell swoop, which is nice.

Welp, I definitely want this for my Nissa Duel Commander deck. Gets me Stage/Depth/Wasteland or whichever other third land. This isn't bad at all.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
Fascinating card. A slightly worse Gaea's Bounty (lower but more challenging costs and basics only) without Nissa isn't really worth playing in most places, but a super-charged Sylvan Scrying with Nissa is positively insane. This has the widest gulf of power between what you get with versus without the 'walker in question. That effect is so powerful that it does make me wonder if we'll see Tron and Valakut decks adopt Nissa, Voice of Zendikar just to utilize it though.

Seems perfect for a Nissa, Vastwood Seer commander deck. Cast it early to get a couple Forests, then bring it back later with Regrowth or Eternal Witness after Nissa's sparked to get three more lands.

Well her walker card could enter in the temur reclamation builds, and her triumph can get any 3 lands in your deck. Maybe her triumph is better in commander but would like to try it in modern
double green sorcery speed and you don't even get to play one? idk, it's not an effect I have much experience with, but it seems weak
There is no card in the game that unconditionally searches for two lands at two mana, even if it's only putting them into your hand and even if it's restricted to basic forests. The closest is Gaea's Bounty at three mana. All of the Cultivate variants are three mana as well.
There are very few cards in the game period that give you an unconditional two-for-one at two mana.
And that's before taking into account the Nissa mode, which turns this into a three for one and drastically broadens what you're searching for, letting you assemble combos like Stage Depths, all 3 Tron Pieces, multiple Cloudposts, Urborg + Coffers, etc.
not bad, it's what is fair I'd say. GG for two basics, unlocked if you control a nissa walker, at least it's not as stupid as Nissa's Defeat, or any of that cycle.
idk why people are hating on the non-nissa mode. It's still +1 cards for 2 mana, that's rare. Granted, you've gotta be mono-green to really want that many forests, but still.

Edit: What I mean this looks like a win more card, that puts you ahead if you already ahead.

Yup, but technically, Topple the Statue is not her triumph. This is.
This is also kind of funny considering that Nissa can foster life by summoning Marit Lage.
