How do we feel about Pyromancer's Goggles for Feather? It's a pretty expensive rock, but getting to double down on our red spells is pretty sexy. It also allows you to effectively buy back your non self-targeting red spells like Chaos Warp, or really double down on others like Divergent Transformation. And it synergises really nicely with Unwinding Clock.

That and Primal Amulet if you wanted to go for this duel purpose approach to spells that are effective mainly against opponents.
I've been doing a lot of research and this type of thing got me interested, as you can then make mode cards do additional things with the copied one. Boros Charm allows you to target your creature for double strike (for the recover), and give your permanents indestructible or 4 damage to opponent. Dawn Charm can be an indefinite fog as you can target your creatures for regeneration (for the recover) but then use the prevent combat mode as well. Abrade and Fury Charm, allows you to target say Feather (for the recover), but then you get to copy and destroy an opponents artifact.
Dualcaster Mage can be used in conjunction with an exile and return to battlefield card like Cloudshift to do the same thing as an indefinite way to getting copy effects.
It's central theme is using blink effects for incredible value.
That looks like an incredibly in depth post. I'll have to go through it when I have the time and see if there's anything else that I can take inspiration from haha. On a side note, I found Sphinx-Bone Wand today, if we build the deck around constant cheap cantrips it'll end games quickly.
While all this modal theorycrafting is cute, rule 700.2g would like a word with you. Further verified as a ruling on the Primal Wellspring Gatherer/Scryfall page.
I don't understand why people are so excited for this card. It isn't that good of a card. Standard and Modern wont play this. Is it that good for commander? Did she have some sort of lore that people are all silly about?
Lol when you don't know the lore and complain.
By the way one of the best card of the last year. Strong, fun and flavorful. Honestly i'm liking even the art, so peculiar.
... now can we have Myczil next?
Wasn't a complaint. Was an actual question. I don't follow the story but I didn't realize that meant I shouldn't talk about magic cards.....and wasn't sure why everyone was so excited for this is all. It isn't a good card in competitive magics. I don't play EDH so I figured that is where it was poised to be. I'm happy if you like the card lol *shrug*
She was a story character in the first ravnica block. By the end of it she was the guild leader and ended up making a bunch of other angels like Aurelia. EDH is pretty hype about it. It adds alot of card draw in colors that dont get it and its mana cost is pretty fantastic.

SonofaBith - Wizards was so excited about making the packaging for Modern Masters 2 recyclable, they decided to make most of the rares and all but 1 of the UC's recycle-bin ready too. Convenient!
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Doesn't target though, as cool as it would be to repeatedly bus Young Pyromancer tokens for relative invincibility
Ah damn you're right. My sleep deprived brain must've read "Choose target creature or planeswalker you control" instead of "Choose a creature or planeswalker you control". Sad panda haha. Ah well, looks like it'll have to be thrown under an Isochron Scepter, or else I just go back to Martyrdom on indestructible dudes.
Because Feather's ability reads "Exile that card instead of putting it into YOUR graveyard as it resolves." those cards wouldn't work. Well, they'd work, the spell would resolve and all, but you wouldn't get the extra Feather spicy times. Instead of putting the spell you cast into the owners graveyard (not yours), you'd exile it. At least I'm pretty sure haha.

Anyway I've been brewing hard and have posted a deck list on the commander area for those that are interested in somebody who has been doing a lot of theorycrafting around Feather for EDH format => https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/commander-edh/multiplayer-commander-decklists/808309

I've got one better:
Target, say, one of the tokens created by Young Pyromancer, and BOOM! Repeatable white ramp!
But I wonder: how does Feather interact with cards like Dire Fleet Daredevil, Mindclaw Shaman, and Reversal of Fortune?
I removed Anointed Procession and Divine Visitation. As cool as it would be to get two Angel tokens off Young Pyromancer with every spell, they just don't contribute enough to the deck's overall focus. I've also removed Parhelion II for similar reasons.
