Ugin feels a bit weird if he's one of the Rares. You'd think he would be a Mythic. I'm not saying these are fake(especially since they have pretty much correct templating) but just seems weird.
MaRo has confirmed he's a rare. The only Mythic walkers are confirmed as Bolas, Lili, Gideon, and technically Tezz.

these are not fake. very nice design on most of them too, they feel as interesting and creative as the commander products of the past.
i think wizards would be very unhappy these leaked...
Gideon is one of the three mythics in the set, so shouldn't be have one passive and three actives, not just two? Also suspicious that they're using an otherwise unannounced mythic edition version that uses the same art.
Bolas is absolutely bonkers. Makes sense with him stealing all the sparks. I actually can't believe they printed that static ability on a card. It's a little ridiculous.
Besides, I'd be pretty shocked if both Lili and Gideon made it out alive.
Mostly I just hope Bolas stays dead this time and the story can move on. It's my one wish.
Bolas might get brother beaten down towards the end but they'll never kill him off completely. He's one of the longest surviving story arcs in MTG history. He's also really good at being a powerful arrogant douche.

He honestly might see play in Vintage just as a one-sided Null Rod for 4, at least in sideboards. Actually, scratch that, the dude's a one-sided Null Rod that can also reach into your SB to grab your: Pithing Needle, Grafdigger's Cage, Tormod's Crypt, Engineered Explosives... the list goes on and on. If the decks that can reliably cast this on turn 2 start playing it main, Dredge may lose a LOT of percentage points in G1s. The more I think about it, the more confident I am that he's going to make a huge splash in Vintage.
he also searches for mycosynth lattice, a 1-of in your sideboard that turns this karn into a one-card lock combo and finisher in both modern & vintage
No one's talking about that Domri, but as a RG Aggro player who's gone infinite on MTGO, I must say I'm extremely happy. An anthem that ramps, destroys creatures and makes your own creatures uncounterable? For ... 3 mana? Um, yes, please.

Hmmm, wonder if Gideon and Lili both die.
While it would make sense storywise and even the trailer seems to imply it, Lili has far too much going on to get killed off. Unless the Raven Man chooses a new pawn, of course.
I don't know whether I mentioned it before, but seeing the way they implemented planeswalkers this way around with passive abilities really just emphasises how appropriate it is that the planeswalker set occurs on Ravnica - after all the card type is heavily influenced by the building/construction card type that was proposed - by R. Garfield IIRC - for the original Ravnica-block. Especially the uncommon planeswalkers feel a lot like what that card type might have been like from the beginning.

I thought something similar. It's technically entirely possible that the Raven Man arc will go into an unexpected direction and advance not despite Liliana's death, but through it: By revealing that the entity is actually not bound to her or "just in her mind" like some have speculated and she herself suggested.
Part of me wants to see her redeemed just so the Gatewatch doesn't lose its proper black member, but overall dying here might make for a satisfying ending for her character arc. That scene didn't show the final outcome, but so far she is the only one of the Origin 5 that has a chance to complete her arc here - leaving the Chain Veil and the mystery around the Raven Man behind as a legacy that other characters technically can pick up.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

I will be so pissed if they leave the emo anime characters alive while killing those two off.
By the looks of it Gideon would be Rare not Mythic. He and his "Abilities" look more to the notion of a Rare Planeswalker rather than a Mythic one
I don’t think rarity has to be rigidly tied to number of loyalty abilities. This Gideon’s static ability is less like an enchantment, as with the other planeswalkers we have seen so far. It is basically the usual first ability of Gideon that auto activates every turn, almost as if you’re activating him twice each turn. Seems good enough for mythic rare.
Any thoughts on whether Gideon would trigger humans like Champion of the Parish or Thalia's Lieutenant? In my head it makes sense that, since it's your turn when you play him, he enters the battlefield as a human.

No. He’s not entering the battlefield. He’s just gaining types, a power/toughness and some keywords.

The poster is asking if gideon would trigger those abilities the turn you play him, not if it would trigger every time he became a human.
Assuming gideon first enters the battlefield on your turn - yes, he would trigger creature ETB abilities like Champion of the Parish since he would enter the battlefield as a 4/4 human. If you somehow put him into play when it wasn't your turn then he wouldn't though since he wouldn't be a creature then.
And yea, his type-changing every turn does not trigger ETBs since he doesn't re-enter the battlefield, he just changes types while on the battlefield.

does that mean her ultimate gives you double life ?

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."

Maro said mythic pw would have 4 slots. Gideon has 2 static abilities.
