And there's the other twist. Normally we do two weeks of previews with a significant number of commons and uncommons revealed on the final day. This time we'll be previewing everything—from the most mythic of rares to the most common of commons—all along the way for the next three weeks. By the time we get to the final day of previews, everything will have already been revealed. You'll not only get a sense of the story, you'll also learn more about the mechanics and the Draft environment than preview seasons past.
Not sure if this has been posted or not yet. I think I will like it better this way and not with the dump of commons/uncommons on the last day.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I'm actually really excited for this. This is such a huge Vorthos set, and after waiting almost a year for the story to advance, I'm chomping at the bit.
This will make it more interesting rather than saving the rares and mythics for most of the reveal. It will give us some good insight into the mechanical feel of the set and limited fodder at the same time. I'm actually pleased with this.

My main worry is that we already get threads about how the newest set being spoiled is the worst set ever / has not any good cards. That's been with mythics and rares. With commons and uncommons being spoiled, how exciting most of these cards can be?
Most of the chaff in each set are variations of existing card with a dash of flavour and the set mechanics jammed in them.

Complainers are gonna complain no matter what. I prefer to just ignore it.
Story wise, I love this idea but isn't the point of revealing everything before pre release to get people used to the cards like they have done the past few sets now

In what way does this not do that? They're still spoiling cards just like before but now the cards are given more story context because this is the climax of the past several years of story.
That's following a lot of suggestions I've been championing for a while. I hope it works out. I'm looking forward to seeing cards been given a context and this approach actually running down the story nicely for us.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
We're supposed to get a fairly big number of card previews this weekend so hopefully that will whet the appetite of a lot of people. They've done exceptionally well at keeping the set under wraps for as long as they have.
My one beef is why they boge the expansion symbol until the set is revealled. I like it how they used to give the expansion symbol when they announced the set. Last time they did that was with Kaladesh/Aether Revolt if I'm not mistaken.

Because I notice this every single time during any preview season (except commander) will be from people “this set is amazing” on the first days during the rares mythics and certain uncommons and commons but then final day it’s suddenly Change to “this set stinks” which means your focusing on the ending rather than The Whole picture

It's just like a movie, there have been countless videos and articles about how your last scene may be the most important in a lot of movies because the last impression is first in the mind of someone walking away. People get super excited seeing the rares and mythics, then we are sent away on the majority of the set being filler, bad even by draft standards. this way might not give us the same hype at the very start, but it doesn't leave us in a comical plummet at the end. Mark my words, we won't know for sure until the set has been around and played a bit, but unless it is Dragons Maze bad, this spoiler season will be a lot more optimistic than they have generally been.

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
i'm still not going to bother going to their site, or any of the third party sites that get spoilers. i'm still going to do what i've always done and just come here or go to mythic spoiler to see whatever is new all in one spot all at once. i'm sure almost everyone will continue on as normal too.
not at all excited that they're taking whats typically viewed as taking too long to spoil a set and making it take even longer.
but hey, if this is a thing you're gonna get excited for and participate in, great cool.
i just don't ever, ever, want to see an article ever again come from them along the lines of the one that blamed us, the players, for creating a demand for full set leaks like the one after all of new phyrexia got spoiled early.

Last set for instance, every card got spoiled on a Thursday, over a week before the pre release to make people have time to look at the new cards
Now they are releasing it right before pre release making it harder for people to know what they want to play at the pre release - at least that's what I thought was the whole point of releasing it eailer

You mean staunch WotC defenders won't be able to sing the old "come on guys wait until the final days there might be some gems in the draft chaff!" song and then dissappear when the full image gallery is up? That's a really big plus for me, honestly.
That said, it's kinda hard to screw up a set with 36 planeswalkers (and perhaps some other chase cards, including but not limited to universal walker removal on the cheap), but I wouldn't put it past them.

Well, it cuts both ways, actually. Most people riding hate-trains don’t show up to say “Eh, I guess I was mistaken” when their words fall flat during spoiler season.
But, I guess if that means we are in for more “WOW, how terrible this set is”, then I’ll skip spoiler season all together. Nothing worse than a bunch of whiners complain about how they won’t be buying standard product, and will probably quit all together, and blah blah blah...
Good to see you’re getting a jump on things, though. Wouldn’t be a new set without your input on it.
Looking forward to see how they handle “storytelling” spoilers, should be interesting to say the least.

This will easily repair this quite a bit
