So a cheaper Raid Bombardment that cares about slightly smaller creatures? I can get behind that. Gives another copy of this effect for some Commander decks, which isn't the worst. I wonder if my Krenko deck might want this, will have to have another look at that deck.

Interesting idea. Makes Vault Skirges and Ornithopters into serious threats without a Plating on the board. If I still had my Affinity deck I'd experiment with it but it might be useful as a 1- or 2-of.

I guess you're talking about the old affinity? Not Hardened Scales. No chance. The deck has plating, overseer, arcbound ravager and signal pest to get damage through. The odds of drawing none of these pieces is low.
Throwing one of these into the deck to have it do absolutely nothing if you have overseer out seems weird to me. Chief of the Foundry would be a better option.

Considering how many 1/1s with haste for 1 we have this can get really funny... combined along side with burn, you can easily just blow people up with fast puny dudes...

It's a nombo with Judith. Edgar's vampires should be getting pumped 80%+ of games. Krenko's goblins are combo fodder instead of attackers. Locust God was gonna kill you anyway.
I think the only deck where I'd really want this is Queen Marchesa superfriends.

Building: The Gitrog Monster lands, Glissa the Traitor stax, Muldrotha, the Gravetide Planeswalker Combo, Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix + Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa Clues, and Tribal Scarecrow Planeswalkers
Except that both Master of Etherium and Chief of the Foundry cost 1 more, and that's a huge difference. Given that we've seen some builds run Ghirapur Aether Grid where this does damage for (as near as ) tapping a single artifact.
