Creature - Human Cleric (R)
T, Sacrifice two other creatures: Any number of target players each lose two life and sacrifice a creature. You add BB and draw card. The Orzhov are not the only religious tradition on Ravnica, nor the oldest.

Just kidding. What a soup of abilties. It works really great with afterlife, give you reach, removal, mana acceleration and a card. And it's human. Really pushed.
Only rare I am "chasing" after besides shock lands. This card is just a conglomerate of things Magic should keep doing.
I don't think this priest is affiliated with any guild. This card raises so many questions as well. There's three hanging bodies casually in the background too.

"The essence of every world, every spell and every thought is power. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists."
Does this ability trigger twice with new Teysa on the field?
This ability is not a triggered ability. It doesn't double up with Teysa.
Edit: The card still plays quite well with Teysa, of course - imagine purely in-set: with Teysa on the field, sacrifice two Ministrant of Obligation, kill an opponent's creature, life drain for 2, draw a card, gain 2 mana, and generate eight 1/1 fliers.
Interesting to see that the ability specifies any number of target players, so you could target yourself if you wanted to. Seems like a pretty good sacrifice outlet that also ramps you and draws you cards.

In Standard, I’m definitely adding this to my mono-black control deck.
In Commander, I can’t even count how many decks I’ll put this in.
I don’t play any other formats.

You could also target yourself as well ("any number of target players") and sacrifice a third one. You'll lose 2 life and still only draw one card and get BB, but you'll have 12 1/1 flying Spirit tokens. 12 power on the board for 2 life is pretty insane. Sure, this is Magical Christmas Land territory, but still.

This is insanely powerful, I'm really surprised to see this. Not sure where this will go, but it's bound to see play as a 4-of. It could potentially do something in modern as well.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
Forgotten gods... So does the Apocalypse Pig have some divine buddies who could play a role in the next set? That would be an interesting turn of events. After all, Bolas has used gods as a tool before...
But that's one wicked card. What's awesome is it doesn't specify nontoken creatures either. So those wayward spirits will have a chance to fulfill their purpose in the afterlife!

Pretty sure that the Gods are the Nephilim. Nothing I can find has MaRo saying that the Nephilim aren't on Ravnica, only that they're not showing up in these sets. This could easily be a future plot hook if events prove that a drastic change in Ravnica needs to occur.
As for the card itself, I vaguely prefer the Innistrad sacrifice for all-in token decks (like my Ravos Commander deck), but this certainly is quite good.
This seems playable. They have to sac a creature and you also get a card, so the two creatures you sacrificed are replaced. Works very well with tokens.

Other than good in Muldrotha, I guess.
