this card could be really good. I'm not sure if this could find a home, as "Boros" aggro decks basically just have a light red splash for heroic reinforcements and a few other cards.
I like the name and flavor, I am just feeling like its maybe a little underwhelming for most formats. It might be passable in standard or limited but I still don't think it seems all that strong. It actually kind of reminds me in some regards of like Precinct Captain (a card that went nowhere) in that its a Bear who needs to live and trigger specific situations to make value but is ultimately fragile.
This might be just a smidge better in that it doesn't need to attack and connect for its tokens but its still fragile and seems questionable to draw off curve.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
Yes this card doesn't specifically say it's portraying a Gateless character but it has all the flavor trappings of them without specifically saying such.

I think it's a tie in to Bolas arriving on the plane and the common citizen turning to face the world ending threat along with many of the guilds.

Wasn't the whole mechanical theme of the Gateless being against multicolored spells?
Guildscorn Ward, Renounce the Guilds and Stormscale Anarch all emphasized that the Gateless were (fittingly) anti-multicolor cards with opposing anti-monocolor guild cards to match.
