It looks underwhelming at first, but you're more or less getting a 6-loyalty planeswalker for three mana, which is pretty good. The decks that run this should have plenty of creatures on the board (having to run a creature-heavy deck is not a problem - Gruul WANTS lots of creatures), so Domri really doesn't have to protect himself (although his -3 does help a bit). The ultimate seems weird but it can get overwhelming pretty quickly. Overall, I like this Domri and I think he might see a fair amount of play if a Gruul (or maybe Temur) Stompy-type aggro deck materializes.
I wonder if Temur or Jund will be bigger. With Temur you have mana sinks in Adapt creatures, but with Jund you have much more durable creatures (lots of recursive creatures) and access to some heavy hitting demons. Combining Domri with that new Rakdos enchantment can also let you have an pretty consistent and powerful filter/draw suite.

That's a good question. Domri seems to work better in Jund rather than Temur, but I could see him being run in either one. I guess which deck ends up being better depends on whether the Simic +1/+1 counter mechanics are strong enough.

The other thing that Temur has going for it is that Riot also syncs nicely with Simic's focus on +1/+1 counters. Like Zegana would be brutal with Riot.

I like him. Semms strong in standard. In the right deck he will be 4 mana draw 2 creatures gain some life. The plus is pretty bad, but not useless. The ultimate feels pretty weak, but since his minus is so strong there really isn't a reason to use it anyway. The main question will be whether him or Vivien Reid match the curve better and if he is better than experimental frenzy in aggro. I expect he will come in and out of decks during his lifetime in standard.

Check out my Sales 50% OFF everything for the next 48 hours.
This is really really good. Cast this turn three off an elf, play another elf off of the plus one (now a 2/2 elf) untap and cast that 6 mana wurm, seems deece.
Now I'm kinda mad that they didn't push kaya this hard.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
Currently Playing: Standard:
Nothing, the format Bores me! Legacy: RBurn (Made on the Cheap!)R RGBelcherRG WSoldier StompyW BReanimatorB EDH: BUGRWSliver OverlordWRGUB BGeth, Lord of the VaultB
For those that are saying his Ultimate is meh... I don't know what world you live in, but getting a 4/4 creature at the end of my turn and a 4/4 creature at the end of your turn means that I have 2 4/4 creatures to attack with on each of my turns. Add Viven into the mix and creatures are just going to be flying out of this deck.
Still no text version posted. Still nothing but a broken image. I'm kinda tired of having to search a handful of other sites to see if they have a proper spoiler just so I can know what everyone is talking about. Can mods start actually doing something about improperly formatted spoilers?

You probably already found it by now, but copypasted from mythicspoiler:
Domri, Chaos Bringer
2RG
Legendary Planeswalker - Domri
[+1]: Add R or G. If that mana is spent on a creature spell, it gains riot.
[-3]: Look at the top four cards of your library. You may reveal up to two creature cards from among them and put them into your hand. Pu the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
[-8]: You get an emblem with "At the beginning of each end step, create a 4/4 red and green Beast creature token with trample."

I have, but thanks. I just wish this would have been in the OP, even after the first time I asked.
Not crazy about the name, but dang, that starting loyalty. I like ramp with a conditional upside.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
hahaha woooow this card sucks so bad.
what is domri's backstory anyway? he doesnt look very healthy, kinda malnourished. why does he have the power to control giant pigs? does he also have the power to cook and eat said giant pigs?? just saying he looks like he would benefit from getting more protein.
poor little guy hope he pulls through:frown:
It's kind of funny seeing people say "he sucks" man it's like getting echoes of his reveal back in Return block. (Spoilers, he was a standard defining card)

Just wanna say his plus is quite gross with regisaur alpha. Sure wipe my board, it's whatever. 7 you >:O.
For one mana? a 2/2 llanowar elf or whatever aggressive one-drop RG gets.

He's all right. Of the Planeswalkers in this set, he's easily the most playable. Both Kaya and Dovin require specific builds to be efficient.
next turn Drop a Carnage Tyrant with Riot?
