Do multiple instances of Riot stack? Do I choose twice? It is important that I get haste twice, sure, but I care more about the other two potential modes.
You do. The "sensible" result of this is that a creature with two instances of riot will either enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter and haste or with two +1/+1 counters, but if you want to be silly, two hastes is okay too.
I just now realized that creatures which already have riot will now etb with 2 riot triggers--they can get a +1/+1 counter *and* haste. Good thing I already have a set of Tocatli Honor Guard.
This card is seriously awesome. Definitely going in my dragons edh deck and others as well. The effect on persist is also very interesting, wonder how that shakes out in modern.
Wish it were common and playable in Pauper. Good card for sure, too strong for the common slot I suppose.

Glorious. AND uncommon. That's just super nice. If Wizards printed this at Mythic with a more Mythic sounding title (see Thousand-Year Storm), people would groan and accept it.
This will make control decks rely much more on Spell Pierce to stop this on T2 on the draw. I am so building a Ramp deck with this, as getting your fatties countered is the only thing that I hate about Ramp.
Do multiple instances of Riot stack? Do I choose twice? It is important that I get haste twice, sure, but I care more about the other two potential modes.
Yes. Not only do multiple instances of Riot stack, in the preview article/video, WotC explicitly said there would even be creatures with multiple instances of riot, then gave examples of it getting +2/+2, +1/+1 and haste, or, for the really silly, double haste.

There may not be any creature actually printed with "Riot, Riot" (and I suspect there isn't); that quote may be precisely to describe what happens when you cast a Riot creature while this is out (or any creature while two of these are out...).
This may make Dinosaurs more viable against a control heavy meta while also helping race aggro decks. It helps Thrashing Brontodon and Regisaur Alpha act as a blocker and safe from Lava Coil. It means Ripjaw Raptor can attack as early as turn 3 or Carnage Tyrant turn 4? It can even help you cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger if you play him.
Less Removal on the whole, but a big fatty aggro deck? This helps. I am not sure how many of this effect I want, but I will certainly try 1-2 in the main deck, and definitely in a sideboard.
It can also help Savage Stomp if you play it, to kill bigger creatures and survive.
Guys...Riot stacks. You can play two of these on board and get bigger creatures with haste. People are saying "I'll try maybe 1-2". Put all four in the deck and build around from there. Regisaur Alphas swinging for 7 when they drop sound awesome, as well as Ghaltas and other R/G creatures.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
It's card 201, and Ravager Wurm is 200. It is alphabetically after Ravager Worm, but not much after (of all the gold cards in this set it's the next one alphabetically after Ravager Wurm).
It can't start with B or P. The first word is almost assuredly Rhythm.

Also, Thorn Elemental is around again. My little brother had a meta-breaking deck back then which beat up other Fires decks by rushing that thing because it was simply bigger than everything the other guys were playing and bloody well unblockable

You're right, I haven't. But I have played my share of aggro decks, and I usually don't want to spend a card and an early turn to make future creatures slightly better instead of applying immediate pressure by adding threats or removing blockers. Not to mention how bad it is to top deck. How is this card a legit thing? What am I not getting here? Are you talking about some slow RG monsters deck or EDH or something?
No no no, what you don't understand is that mass haste is a lot like having Pandemonium on the table. And on top of that all your guys are uncounterable this time around. If you drop it turn 2, you've lost practically nothing at all, you've made all enemy counterspells dead cards and dudes that you could play on turn 2 will still swing turn 3 while each dude which follows will simply swing immediately.
This is just so much advantage you wouldn't believe. It's quite silly in practice. It's no joke even if you get it through on turn 3, as suddenly all your dudes cost as much as they cost already... but have uncounterable and haste. That's pretty nuts. It was pretty nuts back when it was just haste, with uncounterable it's possibly completely stupid.

Tocatli honor guard has no effect on riot. Its not an etb trigger, you make the choice as the creature enters the battlefield. Theres no ability that goes on the stack so honor guard doesnt stop it. See the riot part here https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/ravnica-allegiance-mechanics-2018-12-17

That's a good point--it's a replacement effect. Players relying on white will need to put Demystify in the main.

The existance of this thing makes you go back and reevaluate every single green dude who didn't make the cut before this existed. I mean, wth is this - Thorn Elemental is there, Llanowar Elves are there, Fires of Yavimaya is there, Untamed Kavu is Kavu Titan with vigilance, so that's back, too... And there's whole new toys Or rather Dodecapod is Nullhide Ferox, Kavu Chameleon and Blastoderm got mashed into Carnage Tyrant. Where's Saproling Burst? And what year is this
