Bankrupt in Blood has that harsh additional cost - sort of makes me wish it cost B - but hey, it's a combo card, there are definitely plenty of situations when you want to sacrifice two creatures rather than one.
Blade Juggler does a bad Phyrexian Rager impression, unless the blood price was paid.
Bankrupt in Blood seems hard to pull off... but it might find a place in an Aristocrat deck. We still need a non-legendary payoff card for that deck (come on, Blood Artist!)
The Blade Juggler is excellent value if you paid spectacle cost *and* it is usable in Pauper. Bankrupt in Blood...I never mind sacrificing a creature or two for card draw, especially if I already got the value out of those creatures (looking at you, Chupacabra).

If you are interested in Bankrupt in Blood, I would recommend taking a look at Costly Plunder from Ixalan instead: you sacrifice 1 creature for 2 cards, instead of 2 for 3, but you can also sacrifice artifacts, and it's an Instant.

I had already used that when I was trying out black/red Pirates a few months back--treasure tokens are great, both for casting it and for turning them into cards. Lately, I have been using Journey to Eternity in a Golgari build, which is why I have been sacrificing creatures. Sometimes it is a little slow but more often than not Atzal results in a win.
Yeah, Seb McKinnon is right up there with Terese Nielsen, John Avon and Magali Villeneuve. Though my personal favorites remain the Foglio to this day, more for nostalgia of a simpler, more naive time in MTG.
They should've made whatever the hell that skeleton cleric is a Black mythic card and commissioned Seb for that as well. I'd love another card with that character on it.

Maybe it will be, but I think that he can't make too many pictures each set: his art pieces must take an eternity to make!

All very good mentions xD.
Honestly I feel it is the art that really seperates MtG from the crowd. MtG is really the only CCG i know of that has straight up painted artwork over beign entirely dependent on CG or anime.

Yep. Seb Mckinnon is great. I was very vocally enraged for a long time about crappy, boring MtG art until Seb came onto the scene. Just having one person turning in multiple great works of art per set makes a massive difference.
What's awesome is that everyone seems to agree, and Seb is sort of an MtG darling right now. This should really encourage them to hire more artists with a personal touch. The fact that most of the art is still watered down makes it easy for Seb to shine. They should get some real competition for him.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I'm still not sold on the switch from black cards causing life loss to them doing damage, especially when you're harmingyourself. Life loss makes it feel more like a price being paid; a bit of your life essence is the cost required for such magics.
Damaging yourself is 100% spot-on for Blade Juggler, though.
Keep practicing, planeswalker. You'll get it eventually.

I was about to say, how has no one complimented the art yet?? lol
Seb is easily my favorite MtG artist. His oil works are amazing and deep. Really reminds me of MtG before teh whole CG thing got popular.
