This actually looks great in a Abzan shell with poison tipped archers and other sack outlets in black/green, plus some recusion to bring them back and do it again.
This is gross. elenda, the dusk rose is great with this. All the afterlife guys are going to be great with this. Some of the selesnya stuff pops into tokens as well (the 4 drop) which could be good with this.
plaguecrafter is a great card to get your own death triggers off. - for something like stitcher's supplier maybe? I like for standard.
Too expensive for other formats probably? Effect is unique but there aren't any strong death triggers I can think off that I'm going to jump through hoops for. Nic fit in legacy? Abzan in modern with thragtusk? Really don't know. Funnily enough she has no synergy with current modern BW token lists.
There was the question of what happens to the Obzedat in the Kaya thread, and Teysa's flavor text seems to answer that question, since the Obzedat was the previous Orzhov guildmaster.
I just assumed that if a Planeswalker who has a gimmick of 'kill ghosts' is in town, the local Ghosts in Charge would get the exact same treatment Brago did.
So the question is will we get a good sac outlet or not? I’d take one that costs a mana. I don’t expect it to be free because surely WotC knows how busted those have a tendency to be.
I can't decide how much I like her. She's clearly good and will find a home in a deck but do I want a commander in the command zone that does nothing on its own requiring having creatures to die, a death trigger like Grave Pact and a sac outlet to get around Bounce/Tuck/Exile. Seems like a lot of plates to spin.

The underrated Vampiric Rites was a decent one. I wouldn't mind seeing something like this on a creature this time around.

Hahaha, I have a Ghave EDH deck that cranks out Saprolings and sacrifices them for all manner of good things while triggering a bunch of "when a creature dies, X" effects. Teysa here is going right in. Her Deatharmonicon effect is obviously the big winner, but don't discount her token buffs, if your deck is built right it'll give a lot of opponents pause. Vigilance will make your swarm relevant on offense and defense, and lifelink allows you a life buffer that is not inconsiderable. With even one or two Zulaport Cutthroat derivatives out and a handful of tokens (Saprolings or Spirits), Teysa makes combat a tough challenge. I love that she turns the dinkiest tokens into threats in the right build. Your chump blocks can create havoc for opponents (in my build, Teysa will sap your opponents for 2-4 per token trade and gain you that much plus force two sacrifices off of Grave Pact). And on attack, blocking your token army is a losing proposition. I love it.
Double death triggers is awesome, powerful Standard but in other formats she is beastly.

Oh goodness, and so Skullclamp becomes even more busted than it already is.
Oh god.... She is going to break the ***** out of Skullclamp. 1 Mana, draw 4? wut?
And when used on Doomed Traveler and the new Doomed Traveler we all know this set will have (1/1 with Afterlife 1) ... one one-drop will create two tokens that can also each be Clamped.
Sac 3 BW afterlife dudes to Teysa OS's ability, Exile a creature, deaths trigger 2 instances of afterlife for each, creating 6 BW spirits, and 2 instances of OSs ability, creating 6 W spirits.
Sac the new 6 BW spirits, exile 2 more creatures, triggering 12 more W spirits to come into play, sac the 18 W spirits and exile 6 more creatures.
9 creatures exiled off 3 initial creatures dying.
Add in soul sisters, and that's 24 x however many sisters you have lifegain.

It'd be interesting to see if someone can make this work in Vintage (the only place Skullclamp isn't banned). It seems to be a bit unwieldy but it could work.

Keysa seems quite good, only complaint is that the ability granting applied to her as well. Either way a pretty card, It might also have a spot in a recent deck concept I'm exploring.

I'll be in market for a few copies. I'm a fan.
That creature's ability triggers on sacrifice, not death. Yes, sacrificing kills the creature but you are really looking for something more along the lines of Catacomb Sifter, Zulaport Cutthroat, Grim Haruspex, Midnight Reaper, or even Dictate of Erebos.

I'd be happy with something on par with Hidden Stockpile.

Skullclamp is legal in Commander.
Sadly no good with Athreos, God of Passage.
This is going to be awesome.
