I like Kaya as a character, and I have a playset of foil Kaya, Ghost Assassin. What are the odds they would reprint that Kaya? Or do you think they would make a new PW card for her? I really like the way she plays out in her current PW form.
I don't know why everyone is blindly assuming Kaya is doing this purely because she WANTS to. Not like it would be unlike Bolas, who prides himself on subjugation and mind control, to find the perfect tool for the job of supplanting the Obzedat and then bribe, blackmail, or even outright BRAINWASH said tool. Truthfully, with the Novel's cover art showing Kaya apparently siding with the Gatewatch, my money would be on brainwashing. Breaking free of Bolas's mental domination would be reason enough for her to oppose him in the next set.

I agree with this. What if Bolas mind control's her, then uses her to kill Ugin!

Ugin is a physical being, despite being called the Spirit dragon. Kaya wouldn't be of much help.

So far all of Bolas' planeswalker mooks have been under him because he preyed on their character flaws. Mind control is beneath his character.

So far, they never reprinted planeswalkers outside of core sets (or pure reprint sets, obviously).
Conspiracy walkers might be a special case here, but I would not hold my breath.
Eh, Orzhov is okay. Just bust Teysa out of prison and you got the entire leadership thing solved. Ironically, I think that is what is going to happen once the Gatewatch wander into this mess.
Also, the Obzadat are the weakest of the Ravnica Guild leaders on all fronts. The main powers they have are from wealth, not personal power like Niv or Aurelia. Sure there's a bunch of them together and they can probably do some nasty things in a strait up room brawl, but we're talking about a living being that can phase through walls and murder incoporeal creatures like they were living beings. By the time one Obzadat member could summon the others, that one member would be dead permanently, with the remainder running around trying to figure out what happened.
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
I hope that Kaya is not killing Teysa, since she is one of my favorite characters. Do you guys think there is chance she gets killed?
If I am not mistaken, Teysa isn't the guild leader right? So then it would make more sense that she survives.
It depends a great deal on whether Bolas considers Teysa a threat to Kaya, who is his proxy for the guild on Ravnica. I rather suspect that Kaya would be able to handle herself against Teysa, but Teysa is a plotter, so it wouldn't be unexpected for Bolas to have her done in.
Personally I don't think she will manage to destroy the Obzedat. Thousands of years of experience in underhanded dealings, politics and such isn't exactly trivial. Besides, there is quite a lot of them and I doubt they would all be stupid enough to just stand in a room while she snuffs them out one by one. If there is one thing you become good at when you are dead as long as they have been it is patience. She might beat them for now, but the Ghost Council will certainly outlast her.
My best guess would be that she manages to destroy maybe half of them and that forces them into hiding. Teysa's involvement in this still remains unclear but I think she will end up being on the side of the Obzedat (maybe even as a new member) on the grounds of an outsider being a greater foil for her plans for the guild.

In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out.
