Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).

Interesting to see both this and Demonic Tutor in the same set. Especially when this could have been a Thoughtseize or something else a bit more exciting.
I'm just waiting for the set that works off of the exile zone, like casting stuff to the exile zone and then being able to play the card from there for an alternative effect, or some kind of exile spell that has power equal to the cards in exile. We got a few cards that play off the exile zone already, but no real theme yet. The only other theme that needs revisiting is probably snow synergy.

The re-worded Madness to work this way, right? You discard the spell into exile.

They reworded it since it has to work logically in the computer game. I wouldn't call madness an exile mechanic as much as a discard mechanic.

I suspect they would have downshifted the card had it been a sorcery. Funny implications with Crackling Drake if somebody felt so inclined.
