Karn + Eldrazi Titans + Mana Vault Screams tronland reprints to me, which is upsetting because I would have loved to see them get full art reprints in the boxtopper style.
I agree with a lot of the consternation here. What would really sell me on this set is rarity downgrades. I want all the rares to be straight fire, and most of the uncommons to be downshifted rares.
Or even just downshifting some uncommons to commons for Pauper purposes.
Karn + Eldrazi Titans + Mana Vault Screams tronland reprints to me
Unfortunately they're already crunched out, as Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth has the last number in the set. If Urzalands were in this they'd have later coll numbers than Urborg.

Well crap. Post lands feels like something they would not do either because of the ban, so I wonder what they do to actually support these huge mana cards for the sealed portion of our show.

I wouldn't necessarily say that's true. They didn't let a ban stop them from printing Dark Depths; it looks like Dig Through Time is in this set; like also-printed Demonic Tutor and Mana Vault, that's even banned in Legacy and restricted in Vintage.
It's just hard to have faith in a company that has spent half a decade destroying consumer confidence. Their words are worth less than the cardboard they sell for so much.
"Destroying consumer confidence"? Even though their past few blocks have all been major hits? As have been the Commander products, Conspiracy sets, and Battlebond? Hell, pretty much all of their sets since Shards of Alara? About the only products that haven't done well are secondary products like Duel Decks and Masters. I don't know what evidence you have to back up that claim, but it sounds like distorted perception of reality to me.
I don't know how many mental gymnastics you have to do or what sources you have to back up such a bold claim, but it seems to me and apparently some other posters as well that the only one with a distorted perception of reality here is you lmao
Hopefully they will reprint deathrite shaman and then unban it in modern lol.
I assume that's a joke. If the card is banned in Legacy it stands no chance in Modern.

Can confirm this was sent to people who also received their mythic edition box (eventually) and who did not contact Hasbro by phone after hours of website issues. I saw some rumors on Reddit regarding who did and did not receive a card. After not receiving anything over the weekend (and reports from other not receiving anything), anything was possible. Looks like it should be everyone who was having website issues that morning?
I'm waiting for ours, as that is a great resource but a little disingenuous. I believe the announcement was that ALL mythics in the set are in the box topper, which means anything that has previously been mythic (Vendilion Clique, Force of Will, Dark Confidant, Mox Opal, Mana Drain, Doubling Season) or has never been in a Master's set but is unlikely to get downshifted (Titania, Protector of Argoth, Sliver Legion, Atraxa, Praetor's Voice, Blightsteel Colossus is out of contention. That also means white gets no mythics (ruling out Akroma, Iona, Avacyn, Lyra, History of Benalia, and Baneslayer Angel amongst others), with Sigarda and Karakas taking the "white mythic" slots.
Assessment: Despite being denied all mythics, there's lots of room for White to contribute to EV although one could argue everything on their "gold" list of reprints is actually fool's gold since all of it sees only niche, sideboard, or Commander play and all of them except Enlightened Tutor have had only one, often extremely limited, printing which artificially inflates the value. Really need to see Path to Exile in the set for white to pull its weight.
Assessment: Blue already contributes a lot with Snappy and Manipulation, although Manipulation is a little bit fool's gold (only a $70 because of Commander "taking turns" decks). If it gets Back to Basics at rare that'll be insane, as even if BtB plummets 50% it's still a huge value pick-up. Here's also to hoping that Rhystic Study doesn't go all the way up to rare as that'll be okay value but not amazing value.
That's my take on the first third of the set, mostly to show what goodies we could get. I personally sort of expect to be disappointed.
Out of curiosity - why do you think Idyllic Tutor will hold its value even in the face of a reprint? I thought it was the very poster child of a card that has an outlandish price tag purely because of low supply, because it sees absolutely zero competitive play.
I honestly think they could stand to downshift it. I mean they relatively-recently printed Open the Armory as a standard uncommon white tutor. While it couldn't get nonaura enchantments, it could get equipments which, frankly, is at least close in terms of power and scope (Jitte Clamp BSkull and all those Swords of X and Y). At 2 mana and uncommon!

I guaranteed you that all is dust will be one of the on 1-3
I think the annihilator eldrazi will be focused on other cards if there is more beyond the others
Aren’t you guys kind of jumping the gun the rest of the cards will be jank
I’m sure there’s quite a bit more that are high value cards or highly played cards but always want to buy cards by singles and not packs there’s still gonna be some low value cards though no question
For example cabal coffers could be in it since tomb of yawgmoth is and they may want to put in that combo.
The thing is they are always filled with wank. Look at MM3 and you have to pull phantasmal image (the 13th most valuable card) just to break even. There are only 4 mythics out of 14 that cost more than a single booster.
And MM3 was one of the good master sets.
I’m aware of that
I’m just saying you guys seem to be assuming the rest are that level
I don’t think so I mean for example (note some of my examples might be crunched out)
I’m not saying we will get those I’m just saying it’s a little too soon to conclude no more $6-$15 or higher uncommons and rares at this point (I’m assuming all mythics are revealed)
We don't know if those will be in, but even if they are they won't upset the booster price increase. For this set to be great almost half the set is gonna have to be amazing reprints, from common all the way up to mythic.

Still, lots of room for value...
1-3 (the slots before Emrakul): If we get just one of Eldrazi Conscription or All is Dust that'll be huge for box EV. I very much doubt we'll get both. Hopefully we get "no whammies" and avoid something like Desolation Twin or Conduit of Ruin chunking up the rare slot - I'd rather see Eldrazi Devastator, Artisan of Kozilek, or Breaker of Armies for some battlecruiser limited.
8-70: I think if there are more colorless cards, it'll just be Ulamog's Crusher - Warping Wail feels like it would need too much support in limited unless they do the unthinkable and upgun it to rare. This leaves a huge swath, basically all of white and most of blue.
- Possible "Gold" reprints for white (cards worth more than a pack that are likely to retain that value imo): Greater Auramancy, Idyllic Tutor, Runed Halo, Containment Priest, Recruiter of the Guard, Grasp of Fate, Enlightened Tutor,
- Possible, But Unlikely, Reprints: Teferi's Protection (phasing), Council's Judgment (will of the council), Stoneforge Mystic (would almost certainly be a box-topper instead of Finks or Witness if it was in set)
- "Fool's Gold" reprints (cards that are very niche, or only valuable due to scarcity, and would tank if reprinted): Ghostway, Steam Catapult, Reconnaissance, Army of Allah, Daybreak Coronet, Proclamation of Rebirth
- "Can't Complain" reprints (cards that aren't worth $15, but are decent cards that are easy to trade): Rest in Peace, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Wrath of God, Austere Command, Ethersworn Canonist, Weathered Wayfarer,
- Max value (Cards that could be common or uncommon and would help drive EV): Path to Exile, Steelshaper's Gift, Battle Screech, Wall of Shards, Ghostly Prison, Aura of Silence, Wall of Omens, Standard Bearer, Martyr of Sands, Soul's Attendant.
Personal Wishlist: Ranger of Eos at uncommon as a build-around with Martyrs and Attendant. Flickering Ward.
"Gold" Blue Reprints: Glen Elendra Archmage, Back to Basics, Cryptic Command, Phantasmal Image
Unlikely Blue Reprints: Consecrated Sphinx (would have to be downshifted), Sakashima's Student (ninjutsu), Expropriate (Council's dilemma, competes with Temporal Mastery), Search for Azcanta (flip card), Sakashima, the Imposter (feels mythic)
"Fool's Gold" Blue Reprints: Piracy, Reset, Archive Trap, Forced Fruition, Disrupting Shoal, Cunning Wish, Personal Tutor
Max Value Blue Reprints: Rhystic Study, Serum Visions, Preordain, Propaganda, Siren Stormtamer, Remand, Sleight of Hand, Psionic Blast (at uncommon), Circular Logic, Sea Drake, Hedron Crab, Fabricate, Gush
"Can't Complain" Reprints: Lots, but most notable are Lord of Atlantis, Mystical Tutor, Laboratory Maniac, Baral, Chief of Compliance, and Counterbalance (even at rare)
Personal Wishlist: Capsize and Whispers of the Muse and Counterspell with the JvC art. All at common, with Forbid at uncommon. Mono-blue permission in limited let's go!
Assessment: Blue already contributes a lot with Snappy and Manipulation, although Manipulation is a little bit fool's gold (only a $70 because of Commander "taking turns" decks). 8-70: Teferi's Protection would be nice, but it probably won't happen. Same goes for Stoneforge Mystic, Sakashima the Impostor and Sakashima's Student, History of Benalia, Lyra Dawnbringer, Leyline of Sanctity, Resplendent Angel, and Lighthouse Chronologist. Could Baneslayer Angel, Arena Rector, Angelic Destiny, Monastery Mentor, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Hero of Bladehold, Clever Impersonator, Archangel of Thune, or Archangel of Tithes be in at rare? I wouldn't say no to Arcum Dagsson, Copy Enchantment, Master Transmuter, Michiko Konda, Daybreak Coronet, Martyr's Bond, Karmic Justice, Angel's Grace, or Grand Abolisher either.
72-76: Not sure what I'd want from here. Maybe [card]Sphinx Ambassador?
78-84: Well, Training Grounds could use more supply, Temporal Mastery is right back up to "stupidly expensive"...Time Stretch would be good, but I doubt they'd put that in at rare, especially with Temporal Manipulation in the set. The same goes for Time Stop (wow, there are a lot of turn-related spells in here). Twincast, maybe?
86-92: Could we get Bloodchief Ascension in here, perhaps?
95-98: I don't know, Gifted Aetherborn maybe? Or Ghoulcaller Gisa
100-103: Grave Titan would be good if they could justify it at rare.
105: Could be Maralen of the Mornsong, perhaps? Or Lord of the Void, or Liliana's Caress.
107-109: I'm not even sure what I'd want from here.
111-116: Relentless Dead wouldn't be bad, I guess.
118-123: Hoping for Wound Reflection.
125-151: They wouldn't put Rekindling Phoenix at rare, would they? Scourge of the Throne, Braid of Fire, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Fiery Confluence would be welcome, though I doubt any of them would get downshifted. Reiterate and Splinter Twin would also be good, and Lava Spike would be a good common (and needs a better supply).
153-162: I'm just assuming that Doubling Season is off the table, sadly. Bloom Tender would be a good choice, as well as Carnage Tyrant, Craterhoof Behemoth, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Argothian Enchantress, Asceticism, Chord of Calling, Burgeoning, and Bramble Sovereign, though I doubt Carnage Tyrant or Craterhoof Behemoth would be rare. Birds of Paradise should be a shoo-in, but I've been wrong before.
164-171: Exploration, please. Helix Pinnacle would be funny but probably not worthy of inclusion. Khalni Hydra definitely needs a reprint, and I wouldn't say no to Kalonian Hydra either. Heroic Intervention at uncommon would be nice, but I doubt it would happen.
173: Mana Reflection certainly doesn't seem high in supply, nor does Nature's Will. Myojin of Life's Web would be fun, if impractical.
175-186: Sylvan Tutor, Oracle of Mul Daya, Prismatic Omen, Norwood Priestess, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Stonehoof Chieftain and maybe Omnath, Locus of Mana. And Primordial Hydra, Seedborn Muse again, and Psychotrope Thallid. Primeval Bounty would be better in a core set (and at rare). Sylvan Caryatid at uncommon wouldn't be bad.
188: Tooth and Nail would be good. I don't know why Titania, Protector of Argoth is suddenly expensive, but she could work. Thrun, the Last Troll (at rare) would be nice.
190-198: Dragonlord Dromoka would be nice (really, most of the dragonlords), or perhaps Dragon Broodmother or Ezuri, Claw of Progress. Doran, the Siege Tower probably wouldn't be worth the slot, but he's never been reprinted.
200-201: A Theros god, maybe?
205: I really want a Riku of Two Reflections reprint, but I doubt they'd do it.
207-214: I suppose another Voice of Resurgence reprint would be too much to ask for (especially at rare). Balefire Liege would be good. This might be a section for chaff?
217-226: Come on, Rhys the Redeemed! Another Aether Vial or Chrome Mox printing wouldn't be bad, or Privileged Position (assuming the Selesnya guild kit doesn't crash its price by itself). Manamorphose would be nice to have. I'd like to see Defense Grid and Vexing Shusher, too, as well as Darksteel Colossus, Sapling of Colfenor, Conqueror's Flail, and Waves of Aggression. Darksteel Plate and Door of Destinies, too.
228: I'm hoping for Herald's Horn, Hangarback Walker, Lotus Petal, Lotus Bloom, or Isochron Scepter.
230-232: I doubt they'd print Mox Opal at rare, but I can dream. Mirror Gallery is low in supply, as is Mycosynth Golem.
234-235: Any of the sword cycle would be good, if unlikely (why have those gotten so few printings?!). Rings of Brighthearth is also way overdue for a reprint. Wurmcoil Engine would probably have to be mythic. Maybe Sculpting Steel?
240: I don't care about any of these.
246-248: Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx please?
250: Reflecting Pool please?
252-253: I don't know, Thespian's Stage maybe?
