"To keep things 100, anything I state is an opinion and not intended to be a fact. Any and all suggestions I give are a 100% opinion. If you need further clarification take the conversation to a PM. I am not in the business of assuming things. I'm only interested in 1 business and that business serves 2 things, Cold L's and Hot Dub's."
Is this going to be a cycle? Cards with a guild mechanic that care about a specific color? We've got this, Mausoleum Secrets, and Hatchery Spider.
Normally I would say it is but in this case mentor came in white and overgrowth hit green. That leaves nowhere for convoke.
Or there are two cards in each color, one for each Guild and mechanic.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Just, why? Why "white"? Why not "red or white"? I mean, if you're going to force color, at least remain on theme. (And I see no reason this has to force color anyway.)

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
well Mono-White will like it. Could be a good top-end for them.

Runaway Steam-Kin cares for red spells but nothing in the set cares for blue stuff yet. Perhaps that is the cycle.

In the case of Firemane Angel and Firemane Avenger, their hair color is literally in their names.
