Oh I bet that was legendary land and planeswalker in playtesting.
How long will it take til it is banned in Commander?
Probably never? Commander is a format where Cyclonic Rift, Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, Grasp of Fate, Vindicate, and every other "busted" removal spell in existence is legal. This card is good, but not amazing. It's two mana and sorcery speed for delayed removal. It can "scare off" the first cast of a commander if it comes down turn two, but needing to tap means it is a horrible topdeck if you're already getting clobbered by a powerful Legend. I don't even think it's an auto-include, and would only seek it out if I were playing a commander that could recur it (like Alesha, Who Smiles at Death).

neat i guess. idk. i wouldn't run it in the majority of white edh decks. there are so many better options. like swords, or path. maybe in monowhite i guess?
Not keen on a white bounty hunter. The entire feel of a bounty hunter is black, really surprised to see it in white. Seems like a flavor fail. All they had to do what make it some sort of guildless-hero-type person, defending the common rabble from their supposed "leaders". Oh well.
A white bounty hunter? I mean, Haazda Snare Squad indicates that yes, white bounty hunters do exist on Ravnica, but the idea of hunting down a target for money sounds more like a black thing.
White fits the most Guilds flavor wise (with the name Bounty Agent):
White: Azorius (Law), Boros (Law + Challenge), and Orzhov (Money). Not really Selesnya.
Black: Orzhov again, but Dimir would just kill them and Rakdos/Golgari don't care.
Red: Boros again, but everyone else doesn't care.
Remember doing things for money is a guild identity in Ravnica, even if it isn't in this set.
Hmmm would this fit GW midrange decks in standard though?...be a very good answer to ghalta. The tap effect kinda bites though...

I play Alesha and I'm not convinced to run this card. Nowadays the card itself needs to have some sort of evasion in order to qualify mainly because there's just so much utility choices to choose from. Demanding pretty much Reconnaissance and a haste enabler on the board to use this immediately really dampens its convenience as a utility card in the deck, I'm better off just running direct removal. In theory the repeatability sounds good, but in practice you probably want to use Alesha's trigger for things with more oomph and the restriction on timing/frequency (once or twice a turn during your turn) doesn't work as well as removal-based-utility as most would think (plus on top of that if you needed to remove that many things, there are plenty of other choices).
I'm more inclined to run this in Karador over Alesha and that's just comparatively (actually I doubt I'll find the space for this at all).

White creatures can still fall into the "lawful evil" or "lawful neutral" paradigm. Black bounty hunters are more typically assassins and aren't always acting within the letter of the law-- this white creature is presumptively answering completely legal bounties on big names.
What kinda bounty hunter can't stay alive to collect their bounty?
That is something I question about the flavor. It seems like they're sacrificing themselves to take down a big bounty, but that's not the way that usually works.
Actually I love this flavor. A bounty hunter that bags someone big doesn't stick around- they spend some time out of the spotlight to spend their earnings and, if the reward is big enough, they retire. The job is done, they're out of there!

That makes more sense. They've done their last big job, now time to settle down and, IDK, get a desk job.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
