Obviously a very powerful card, but kind of an awkward name to get used to saying. We have path, push, bolt... now what, "I'm gonna trophy your Liliana"?
Read the card's flavor text: "a power vacuum for Azorius" implies a leader has died. Isperia is the Azorius leader. Also check out the RtR Isperia art, she has the same face and gem on her head.
Creature destruction. Check.
Planeswalker destruction. Check.
LAND destruction. Check.
All for 2 mana.
Absurd.
No need to talk about the basic land given : who needs a basic land when they have lost their planeswalker (for example) and a great deal of mana?
The tempo swing is huge.
Busted! At least this will help bring the price of Vraska's contempt a bit. But I shudder to think what the price of this absolute nonsense will be if BG is a thing.
Assassin's Trophy may end up being the best card in the set because of eternal format playability, as older formats just don't play many basics - and likely never will. The "destroy a land" aspect won't really matter for Standard though because they get an untapped land immediately.
This most interesting comparison/competitor for slots is likely Abrupt Decay.
