Getting that Viashino triabl! And Phoenix Wright the planeswalker looks like a PW deck walker. The ultimate is alright but kinda hard to get with only a +1. The -2 is just, meh.
Kinda surprised they didn't go with a monored burn spell as Ral's tutor, but I guess they want to explore his blue side more.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
This and Vraska's PW deck reveal on syfy are so humbug marketing plans. Give barely related (or is it entirely unrelated?) sites a few bad cards to reveal. Check box in the marketing list. Next.
The staticaster intrigues me. Especially seeing he curves into the pack Ral. Seems like a small bit of spicy aggro.
Aaaand, he's a wizard! I would be surprised if the UR wizards tribal deck post-rotation doesn't at least try out the Viashino. It it could be quite brutal with trample and 3-4 cards in hand (especially if Adeliz is already on the board).
There was a hoverboard Viashino in the trailer video IIRC, but here is another and confirmed definite Izzet Viashino. I don't recall Viashino in the Izzet before, so that's a nice thing - and an intriguing change considering the Izzet Parun is a draconic and Viashino have traditionally relations with Dragons. Guilds are always reinventing themselves as we return to Ravnica (e. g. the shift of Simic with the introduction of Ravnivan Merfolk and replacing the plasmic grafts with more hybrids; or the shift in Gruul representation) and I feel every time the guilds reinvent themselves that way they become a little more nuanced and deeper. That's exactly what I hope for in the area of world-building when it comes to returns.
These changes might also be meaningful when it comes to the possibly interplanar resolution of the conflict with Bolas we have coming up in the third set.
I feel the tutoring spell leaves a little to be desired. Previous PW deck rares seemed more efficient. Though it's an instant, so I may be underestimating it, but a ful Disperse rather than Unsummon would be what I'd have expected.
It's not unexpected with Ral and Vraska being obviously slotted to return, but after RtR was prefaced by the Izzet vs. Golgari Duel Deck, I'm not too happy about seeing the same pair again - certainly a drawback to the Planeswalker deck formula.
I'm missing the common card.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
I'm really surprised. Kieran Yanner did my favorite Jace art of all (Cunning Castaway) which was a major feat for sure. But his take on Ral isn't so great.
That said, the art of Ral's Dispersal is brilliant. Love it. Shame I'll have to use this Ral with it instead of the main set one, that actually has great art.
But I can't complain, Ral from the main set and his promo both look awesome, and I love the art on Ral's Dispersal, so it's alright. I do wish these tutors could search *any* PW with that sub-type, although I understand how that's broken. I am toying with the idea of adding red to my U/W deck in order to accomodate Ral, but if I don't, I may just use Ral's Dispersal in it anyway
Is there a rule that the PW deck promo artwork needs to be below average? I noticed for example, the Jace one was sub-par, yet the deck had amazing Chris Rahn art for Castaway's Despair (one of my favorite MTG artworks). Here, Ral's card is basic, yet Ral's Dispersal has quality art. So my question is, why do the face cards end up being a lot less invested in compared to the main set art of the walkers? Ral's two other new cards, Izzet Viceroy and its promo, look great compared to this version. Then again, Vraska's PW deck card has solid art, so IDK.
That ultimate is pretty legit, especially for a PW deck. A one-sided board wipe along with drawing a mitt full of cards is a game-changing effect you find on competitive PWs. High casting cost + low-ish loyalty takes it out of consideration for tournament play but I'm confident Ral, Caller of Storms will do some serious work in a multiplayer EDH setting.

Ability-wise I feel like they need to "Slightly" buff PWs in Planeswalker decks a bit slightly
