I love this art so much. I also like how they show Vraska that is both practical but also likes to dress up.

Looks like the kind of Gorgon i wanted to look at, but it might turn me to stone ;P

Villeneuve is one of the best current artists. Like the art on pretty much every card she's done.

This art is incredibly amazing, but I kind of wish Magali could also do a Vraska in her pirate outfit, though.

I hope so too simply because he wasn't really ever a bad guy, and we sorta at some point need to get Vraska and the Guild Leaders seeing eye to eye..and her outright murdering Jarad would hamper that.

Eh, OK depiction but I don't enjoy it that much. She's sitting on that throne in kind of stiff and slightly awkward way.

This is probably one of the "old ones" (or whatever they were called) that got awakened in the story with Vraska and Mazirek. Looks pretty cool.

Man... golgari went from plant-zombies and mutants to full-on Mushroom people. Kinda makes me wish they had Thallids on Ravnica.

I can't help but wonder if those faces in her throne used to be people...

There have always been saprolings so its not a huge jump.

This graphic is so excellent. I hope that the abilities of Vraska will also be very good and CMC will be 3-5.

If shes the face-walker for Ravnica, then shess designed purposefuly stronger. i hope 4 Chandra, torch of Defiance-powa.
4 abilities hopefully ^^
- Maybe create deathtouch-tokenz
- Sacrificin creatures for higher benefits.
- Put cards from top of Deck into graveyard & recycle Golgari-style, - A -X Gaze of the Gorgon-like ability

I like the overall "fungal" look going on. Aside from the actual fungus, those holes in the lower part of the skirt look very deliberate -- not torn or rotted. I dig it.

I mean, I could be wrong about the deliberate part, but I still like the design.

For the art in the OP. Amazing art. Looks like a portrait picture to hang on a wall.

This is a really good art in a terrible monochromatic color pallet

Magali Villeneuve sure paints beautifully, but these pieces she's done for Ravnica (this one, the linked golgari one and the art for the mat) are all in the same earth tones. It's a bit monochromatic. I wish she'd used green more actively.
