When Boreas Charger leaves the battlefield, choose an opponent who controls more lands than you. Search your library for a number of Plains cards equal to the difference and reveal them. Put one of them onto the battlefield tapped and the rest into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

I dig this card. It works well with Aminatou's -1, and with things like Scroll Rack allowing you to turn those extra cards into straight gas in the vein of Land Tax
EDIT: Not to mention it grabs non-basics, though they do have to be plains.

I kinda wish that there was some overlap with horses on these cards - they also have a unicorn which could somehow be grouped in. Same thing with Nagas/Snakes and Hounds as opposed to dogs. If only Crested Sunmare Horses and Pegasus are indestructible.
This has 7 lines of text on a 2/1 for 2W. Are you telling me that in a format with Land Tax (a clunkly worded card just reprinted in Battlebond), we couldn't get something - more straightforward? I'm not asking for the next True Name Nemesis... but it'd be nice to get something one could build around... with stats better than reject filler commons.
So Pegasus, Unicorn and Horses are all 3 separate tribes? Crested Sunmare will not be happy about this.
In light of historic, aybe we'll someday get:
Whenever you cast an equine spell... (Horses, Pegasi, and Unicorns are equine.)
Ah, but then we'll have "Whenever you cast a humanoid spell.... (Humans, goblins, elves, some spirits, most golems, probably not zombies, not sure about minotaurs, and Maro'll get back to us on atogs are humanoid.)"
I feel like the flavor here is very whimsical in that this is a mystical pegasus that will appear to those in need and take them on a fantastic journey, like Peter Pan. That's why the trigger is upon leaving the battlefield.
Also I need to say that this is one of the most beautiful and evocative pieces of Magic art I've ever seen and I want it framed.

So, is it just me, or the Esper/Bant decks got better land-supporting options than THE LAND-SUPPORTING DECK?
Certainly seems that way. I mean, I think that part of it is simply that both Esper and Bant use white, and they're trying to fix some of the problems that mono-white has in commander, but while that may give reason for having white ramp options it doesn't excuse the jund deck's appalling LACK of land focus.
This pegasus seems really nice in Chalice Aggro with City of Traitors because it can easily fetch into play 2 Plains at once. Remember that you can simply play your regular land drop during your Main phase n° 2.
While not that great, it isn't that bad either: we are still talking about a way to accelerate during the following turn and taking away bad late game topdecks.
It works even when the opponent uses Swords to Plownshares and Path to Exile.

EDIT - Never mind, Primordial Mist spoils drops just as I post this

Yeah, I dunno either.
All I can think of that if you kill a horse, you get nothing but horsemeat... yet, kill a pegasus and you get wings as well.

Well, mistral is a real-world wind, and Boreas was a Greek god of northern wind. That is about it.
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
