Wasn't Worn Powerstone her heart which now powers the weatherlight?
Worn Powerstone is the powerstone that was used to collapse Serra's Realm, and is the one that powers the Weatherlight. Xantcha's Heartstone was used to power Karn...but unfortunately had the side effect of being a Phyrexian creation, causing Karn to leak glistening oil on Argentum, corrupting Memnarch, etc, etc.

Just a heads up, but if her controller dies she will go back to you (I think anyway). Thus, you will get burned at that point :/
If her controller leaves the game, she gets exiled because she never entered the battlefield under your control, so there is no default controller to give Xantcha back to. (However, since you're her owner, you can put her into the command zone instead.)
If it worked like the original Sleeper Agent, then Xantcha would return to your control if her controller left the game, since that particular creature has a triggered ability that triggers once it enters the battlefield. Xantcha doesn't, she just enters under someone else's control.
Are you (and others with similar point) sure? The control change is a continues effect setup up by a replacement effect and rule 800.4a ends “any effects which give that player control of any objects or players“. Note that the bribery case is different - with Xantcha we have an effect, but not with bribery.
Correct. Rule 800.4a only cares whether an effect gave control of an object you own to somebody else - it doesn't require a duration. If the opponent who is given control of the object leaves the game, the effect just ends (for Sleeper Agent, since it ETB'd under your control, then was given to the opponent) or the object is exiled/put into the command zone (for Xantcha, who has no default controller since a replacement effect replaces the "ETB" event with "this ETBs under an opponent's control").
Note that the wording on Xantcha is not that it enter etb under an oppeonts control but that an oppeont gains control of her. She has a continues effect giving control to someone else. On the other hand whomever gets her is the default controller, so maybe he would be the controller after this effect is removed. It is not really clear.
It's actually a one-shot replacement effect, not a continuous one. The replacement effect replaces "Xantcha enters the battlefield" with "You choose an opponent, that opponent gains control of Xantcha, then Xantcha enters the battlefield". Replacement effects that modify how permanents enter the battlefield and require a choice cause that choice to be made before the permanent actually enters the battlefield (rules 614.12 and 614.12a). Xantcha is still on the stack resolving when you make the choice of which opponent gains control of her. When she enters the battlefield, she's under that player's control, and there is no "default controller" for her to switch back to if that player leaves the game and the effect ends.

It seems like a lot of people like this card, but it will get sacrificed or die in combat almost immediately right? It might get one or two swings in before it bites it, I guess.

I imagine the controller will suicide attack with her, but also the defender might just chump block to keep her alive, so the players can keep drawing cards off her.
EDIT: As for the sac, the right play is you should not give it to another player with sac effects.
Yawgmoth, I feel, wouldn't live up to my expectations, but, then again, I thought the same about Jodah, and was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong, so you never know.

For anyone that cares, Eli has already answered this question on Twitter. The person who tried to put her onto the battlefield will end up with her if the new controller were to leave the game:
I do not play multiplayer or commander magic but, this card feels very nasty. It's like telling your class in high school that they'll get a dollar every time they pinch that one socially-awkward student in the face. "See? Nobody like you."

Never a bad thing. The Artifacts Cycle, while kind of weird because Urza, is probably the best written cycle of Magic novels.
Not Serra or Yawgmoth?
