He is the first multicolor phyrexian artifact, i guess
His mention on the flavor text perplexes me.
First of all it sounds like a human is talking. Someone disgusted by the myr grotesque appearance, but also fascinated by its mechanism. Why Brudiclad doesn't like the myr aspect? They are so... similar.
Especially if you consider that he is the one making them, apparently.
Also, the name isn't one from Mirrodin. It was done on future sight to keep the mistery.
Now we discover that it was Mirrodin all along?
They revled that Sarcomata Myr was meant to be a Future Sight preview card form New Phyrexia. Colored artifact where gonna be a New Phyrexia mechanic (flavored as blurring the lines between artifact and flesh)but then they hit Alara/Esper ended up needing them (and they tend to give the set that coming out first priority in getting mechanics) so Sarcomata Myr got cut since the colored artifacts became phyrexia mana.

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Is this guy a phyrexianized myr? That is SO awesome!
Definitely looks like it. I think this is the first named Myr we've ever had - if there was one in the stories I don't know about it.
I didn't even think Myr had names. Serial numbers, sure.
So, clone tokens, or just making a huge dragon or octopus token? (Or that 9/9 golem token would look nice...)
And don't multicolor Phyrexians go back to Tsabo Tavoc? (And we need a Belbe card.)

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Imagine I have Brudiclad and a token that's a copy of Scourge of the Throne. Going to combat I turn all tokens into Scourge of the Throne and get a bunch of extra combat steps.
Now we go to the second combat step and we have Brudiclad make each token a new copy of Scourge of the Throne. Considering the new Scourges are now different objects than the old ones, will they still trigger when they attack?
Also curious if this is the same with Combat Celebrant as exertion doesn't seem to be a defining characteristic of objects.
The rules on objects aren't especially clear, but I know that Mairsil, the Pretender can use Mirage Mirror to become a new version of itself and activate abilities again, so I'm curious if this is similar.

Bolded part is false. The tokens have continued to exist, and have just had (all) of their characteristics overwritten. If, for instance, one of your tokens had a +1/+1 or -1/-1 counter on it, it would still have that counter after it was made into a copy. So even if they "become" a Scourge again, they still know they have attacked already that turn.
You still get lots of combat phases, but not technically infinite.
Absolutley I think this is the direction to be taking this guy. However, it can't be ETB effects as the tokens don't enter the battlefield so Halimar Excavator won't work super well unless you have another ally in hand to cast post-combat.

If you put the excavator under a Mimic Vat or Soul Foundry, or use Helm of the Host or something, it'd work. After all, you're likely to be running a bunch of cards in Brudiclad that make token copies of things. But you are correct that it's more awkward and fiddly than, say, just making everything a sliver.

Hmm. Izzet slivers could be fun. Make a token of Battle Sliver and have Fury Sliver and Shadow Sliver and you have some big angry slivers biting peoples' faces.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Ok someone please tell me I am wrong here. If I have Brudiclad and Precursor Golem on the field, and enough mana to play Cackling Counterpart twice (once before and once after Brudiclad turns all my tokens into copies of the copied Precursor Golem), I can attack with 108 golems. If I calculated this correctly, I will need to start building this deck immediately.

I don't think this is correct: You start with 1 precurser and two tokens. You use Cackling Counterpart and get two additional tokens and one precurser wich makes two more -> you have two cursers and 6 tokens. Brudiclad turns all into precursers so you'll have 8. You cast Counterpart again to make 8 more precursers wich create 16 tokens -> you end with 16 cursers and 16 tokens

Sorry Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun your probably crying in a corner since this dude is like eons better
Now we need a jeskai token legend now so both of them can work together
Definitely agreed on Belbe, as well as Xantcha and Feather.

The best thing to do, of course, is make a token copy of something that gets ridiculous in large quantities, like Powerstone Shard, Thorncaster Sliver, or Halimar Excavator.
Temmet has access to white, cheaper to cast and plays differently also (prefers big token instead of many), I wouldn't call Brudiclad eons better.
