Treasure Nabber2R Creature — Goblin Rogue {R}
Whenever an opponent taps an artifact for mana, gain control of that artifact until the end of your next turn. The Law of Givesies Backsies is respected by every nobly pursuer of shiny things.
3/2
Flavor is out of the park. This is the one thing Mono Red decks struggle with and just having this down quick can allow you to "ramp" out stuff easier.
Very good card for Krenko.

"The essence of every world, every spell and every thought is power. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists."
It pretty much just gives you an additional artifact to use for improvise...although if you're doing what the goblin in the art is doing, you're probably better off just tapping that Sol Ring for mana. It's useful otherwise, though.

Wow. Talk about missing the essence of the question.
To answer the question:
702.125a Improvise is a static ability that functions while the spell with improvise is on the stack. “Improvise” means “For each generic mana in this spell’s total cost, you may tap an untapped artifact you control rather than pay that mana.”
I believe this means that if you tap your blightsteel colossus to help cast battle at the bridge, the person controlling Treasure Nabber will not gain control of your Blightsteel. The artifacts you tap aren't generating mana, they are used instead of paying mana.
This seems counterintuitive with the templating of improvise on Magic Online.

Saheeli's Directive shows the new reminder text of improvise that helps pointing out the interaction correctly. You now explicitly are told to impovise after activating mana abilities.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
