Yeah, I saw that. Pretty disappointing, but this may be one surefire circumstance where it being at uncommon would warp limited. Card's a powerhouse in draft and sealed.

ohh you know, print something else?
Ah, that's definitely true. There didn't HAVE to print the wurm in M19.
To be honest, I'm less agitated by this upshift than I am with M14's Domestication upshift.
EDIT:
And yep, Tezzeret is pretty sweet, but it takes the same 5-drop slot as Teferi, so it may only be an option for decks not running white, or running a lot of artifacts.
EDIT 2: While Psychic Corrosion is okay (mill may now be viable in Standard with this and Fraying Sanity), Sphinx's Tutelage is mostly better (Sphinx's Tutelage targets, this Corrosion does not).
Tezzeret has great abilities and is overall very strong. The two big "knocks" are that it's 5 mana and it takes 4 loyalty activations before you can ultimate. Because of that, I think that keeps him from being Modern playable, but who knows. Great in EDH superfriends and should see Standard play, even though it's competing with Teferi.
Holy moly, what the hell happened to Fork? At least it could have been instant speed.
It's uncommon. The game only has five other Fork variants at that rarity. Two are 2cc pieces of blue countermagic that sometimes copy, in the right conditions. Two are Izzet guildmages with expensive activated abilities. One is Geistblast, which costs 3 and has to be in the graveyard to work. This is the closest any uncommon has been to Fork, so the rarity downshift is worth being a sorcery.

It's a worse (in my opinion) Howl of the Horde. Sure Howl costs one more to get only one copy, but it's rare you are only using it for one copy, rather than two, and yes this is uncommon, but this still feels bad, and even Howl of the Horde doesn't feel great a lot of the time.
Arcane Encyclopedia draws me ever closer to having enough cards for my Conan, the Librarian EDH deck starring Bosh as the angry librarian throwing books at you.

and it's not WU?!
I know five mana is a lot,
but Tezzeret has a ton of potential.
Reprint Stasis!
Control needs more love.

Edit: Also, great to see the CipT duals at common where they belong.
the gatewatch had no idea he put it into his arm
Only if you don't count Jace, Vryn's Prodigy.
Really enjoying the new art on some of those tokens. New art for the 3/3 Beast is always welcome.
Willing to bet the final rare is what makes that token
There's already a card that makes that token. Forgot what it's called, but it is out there.
I'm guessing they are backing of any further reprintings of Reverberate since it's effectively a reprint of Fork (which is on the Reserved List).
Also, at least this new one is uncommon.
