4/4 for 2 with Arcades. I knew saving my quarters for the Arcades would pay off some day!

Wow, this is almost "Un"-level flavor here. Combo with Suspicious Nanny?
It made me immediately think of Entirely Normal Armchair. Oddly enough, the armchair can still devour a creature sneaking through the secret passageway behind the Suspicious Bookcase.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Yeah, ultimately it seems like Innistrad lends itself to the best flavor cards in terms of genre tropes. I sort of wish we'd see some more genre trope cards in the realm of high fantasy (a la "Dropping a Chandelier On Your Enemies and Riding the Rope Up" as Pouncing Kavu suggested) but I guess Magic in general already plays off of fantasy tropes to begin with, we just don't see them as blatantly humorous.
I think it has to do with atmosphere. With Theros, you're looking at Greek myth tropes, which are defined more by style than atmosphere. Innistrad is very atmospheric. Sooner or later, we'll have enough of these cards to build some kind of "Haunted Mansion Mystery" deck. I hope we eventually get a dedicated Pirate world with atmosphere cards like this.
Ooh, they should do a Watchful Painting card! Basically those paintings with eyes that seem to follow you. They could be extra clever and use art variants that form a hallway panorama. Or how about Wall of Paintings? Whenever a creature attacks you, if Wall of Paintings doesn't block it, you scry 1, then the attacking creature gets -1/-0 until end of turn. Or they could make Watchful Painting an Equipment with Equip Wall!
For multiplayer, they could make a Revolving Wall that redirects attacking creatures to a new player!
At any rate, the one thing that would have made this card better is if it was a DFC, so we'd have the front face that looks like an ordinary bookcase and has some manner of card-drawing or scrying ability, then can transform into a secret passage that grants unblockability.

I've been inspired to write a D&D quest about a haunted manor with nothing but animated objects for enemies.
Haunted Plate Mail and Library of Leng (I can't help but imagine the resident of a haunted mansion would be up on his eldritch lore. Perhaps copies of the Pnakotic Manuscripts, De Vermis Mysteriis, and of course the Necronomicon.) would go into that deck as well.
We just need a hedge maze and I'm guessing a conservatory and a ballroom?

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Gotta love how they synergize, too. Now we need some snooping investigators!

Dropping a Chandelier a trap card perhaps?
