His ability requires 5 mana, 7 cards, entering tapped, on an underwhelming 5/4 body? Blech. With that costly of a recursion cost at least give it an ETB ability.
Hmm, a mythic beater's a mythic beater, but Skaab Ruinator this isn't. I just wished it ETBed from the 'yard untapped, but that might be oppressive to attack into when it comes to certain decks.
Just alright on the whole. Definitely a huge Limited bomb but probably not much of a splash-maker in Constructed.
Yeah why is this a card? Its flat out bad! Like really bad! Why did they let this card come to print, especially at mythic?
I was hoping it was going to be like that black dragon from the C17 Ur-Dragon deck or something. This, however, is very disappointing. Wasted a mythic slot and some good art on a trash card.
What's the most resilient parasite? An idea.
A single idea from the human mind can build cities.
An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules...
I don’t think it’s that underpowered. 5 Power for 5 on a flying body in black with no drawback, but an upside? The Reanimation ability seems expensive, but most effects like that are sorcery speed, so the tapped clause is basically irrelevant because you are doing this EOT on an opponents turn.
Consider how strong this would be if it required sacrificing rather than exiling. Way I see it, this is the perfect resident for a Desecrated Tomb. And outside Standard, Champion of Stray Souls is a good enabler.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
But seriously, you'd think a mythic BONE DRAGON would have a better recursion ability than Reassembling Skeleton
That's because Reassembling Skeleton is a good card. This...isn't.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

I disagree entirely. You're exiling 7 things from your graveyard to get your dragon back, sure, but you only get 1 Bat token from the tomb. Feels bad to me.
This wouldn't be absolutely awful as a control finisher except there are copious amounts of exile floating around in standard (seal away, cast out, ixalan's binding, settle the wreckage, Vraska's contempt).
Mana and cards just seems like they're trying too hard to avoid either dredge/delve strats in eternal formats or something along those lines. A 5/4 on turns 2-3 isn't going to ruin anyone's day in those formats, it could have just been cards honestly.
Completely underwhelming for commander and brawl imho.
I'm just not sure who this is targeted at? Even in limited 7 cards is nothing to scoff at and 14 cards plus the mana is representing half your deck to bring it back a second time...for something that does to giant spider + combat trick.
Maybe scrapheap put the fear in them, this is a huge overcorrection though.

Either the mana cost or the additional "exile cards from your graveyard cost" should have been steep, not both. If they were going to force you to pay 5 mana to reanimate, they could have at least made you exile only two cards or something. As is, it'd be difficult for most decks to activate this more than once, if at all.

Yeah, and once it's in the grave, it totally broadcasts itself; your opponent will be keeping their last removal card in hand waiting for your grave to fill with 7 other cards.
You guys are nuts. There's bound to be seven cards by the time this card was cast and sent to the graveyard, and it can be done at instant speed. It has five power and can't be targeted by Glorybringer. The downside would be that there are a bunch of exiling cards in Standard right now.
I just wished it ETBed from the 'yard untapped, but that might be oppressive to attack into when it comes to certain decks.
Considering that you have to pay five mana and go down a Threshold, I think that still would have been acceptable. I mean, you're only going to be able to pull off that stunt twice in a game, tops. Maybe less in limited, depending what the limited environment ends up looking like.

Seems like we're moving past the good mythics and into the jank/garbage mythics. Just waiting for the ***** red mythic to be officially spoiled.
Hopefully the PWs are decent.

On phasing:
It's alright, but you only get 1 bat out of the deal. At least with Scrapheap you get two, one for the removal and 1 for the reanimation.

Quite right. After that whole debacle with Treasure Cruise, they probably wanted to be cautious with Desecrated Tomb.
But hey, Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Isareth the Awakener should work pretty well with the Tomb, eh?
