I love the mechanical focus on kicker!!! The Druid is a nice addition, I'm definitely going to make an RG Kicker deck for casual EDH with Hallar at the helm.
The 4CMC 4/4 with a big additional upside at common really flaunts what a high powered limited environment we should expect.
Also, Kicker is the theme for RG. The opportunity to draft kicker deck is one of the things I am most stoked about for this set, and that's saying something.
Edit: Also worth noting how nice it is that they give spoilers to content creators, because I didn't know about Lords of Limited, and now I'm going to check it out. It works as intended
Also worth noting, Hallar benefits off of cards that just give him +1/+1 counters or manipulate those counters. So Hardened Scales and Primal Vigor would be a must-have for him.
That Druid is actually a great addition to the kicker theme and is a real boost to it. One of my biggest issues with it was that the kicker costs were so expensive but this definitely helps.

They did that a bit in Invasion block. It also gave us Ertai's Trickery, the obligatory "useless hoser of a block mechanic". (For the record, I don't hate all block mechanic hosers. I just think they should have Johnny value or just hit a lot more.)
I actually might make a Hallar Commander deck. First cards to add, besides kicker cards, Keen Sense and Spider Umbra. Because I can always use a free Ancestral Recall every time I kick a spell.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Was that mana dork not in the FAQ? 'Cuz I definitely have questions.
Like, can you use it to pay for the "regular" part of the spell, or just the Kicker?
The text implies it could cover either, so I'm guessing that's the case.
I don't guess it's terribly important either way, but I am curious.

There is no separate payment for kicker. Kicker changes the total cost of the spell, then you pay the whole cost.
Edit:

That doesn't work that way. There's only a single instance of X damage, not X instances of 1 damage, so Keen Sense only gives you one card. Still good, but not Ancestral Recall.
Edit Edit: Unless you're talking about hitting multiple opponents, in which case, carry on.
Are those kicked-matter cards working with the ability of multi-kicker from zendikar as well?
They do work, but unless they refer to the number of times the card was kicked, it only counts once. See Rumbling Aftershocks. So, Hallar will get a +1/+1 counter if you kick the spell at least once, but won't get more than one +1/+1 counter per spell.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Hey, I was going to say, I've encountered players who think my Sword of Feast and Famine only procs once on a creature with double strike. (Even if SBAs are checked between first strike and normal damage and actually have to be for it to work right.)
