For a guy who has been looking at the Rumor Mill and/or internet for spoilers since Exodus, it feels wrong to have 142 cards already. I don't have much to add beyond that, just feeling bummed.
So, any bets on if some of the vanilla/French vanilla monsters will be straight reprints like Llanowar elves is? I could see Sengir Vampire, Serra Angel, Merfolk of the Pearl Trident and Mon's Goblin Raiders as limited chaff.
Set looks fun so far. I really like it when things like this happen. Gets me excited about the set, and I don’t have to go at the glacial pace that Wizards wants to for spoilers.

In all fairness, prior to this leak we had not seen ONE card from Dominaria. Not ONE single spoiler. That's a little ridiculous, at least to me.

We do not usually receive spoilers for new sets until a few weeks before that set releases. Dominaria is still 7 weeks away. Masters 25 has not released. WotC would never intentionally spoil the next, next set before the next set even comes out (especially not on this scale). It kills the interest for the next set and dilutes the hype for the next, next set.
Some of the others are already inflated in price like Rhys, Hound of Konda and Norin.

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I'm most excited to see Tetsuko Umezawa's artwork. And for all the Saga Enchantments and Serra-themed cards.
As someone who adores everything Legendary, this set is really pulling me in. I hope they do Theros with this volume of Legendary things next time.
I sure hope they do. Nyxborn Legendary creatures could be a blast. I only hope that they will not push it and do Kamigawa 2.0 overloaded with legendaries. Like, the amount in this set is huge, but seems fine.
Theros, Kamigawa and Dominaria do indeed feel like all the right places with Legendary and Legendary Matters.
Not sure if you were thinking of using Solemnity to help or hose the Sagas, but with Solemnity out, the Sagas are worthless. If you're trying to manipulate the effects, you're better off using something like Hex Parasite that can precisely control how many counters to remove from a permanent.
Hey so have i just not been paying attention and the card arts are out there somewhere? oooor does wizards plan on doing something interesting with card structures again, like future sight? cause that would be dope as *****...also this set is like. actually good! Like it looks like the best set to draft since like SOI, and Khans before that, i actually want to brew again with these cards. So happy that 1 drop mana dorks are back....like so happy

Card arts are (generally) NOT out there. Some arts have obviously been shown via promotional materials, but actual cards with art haven't been seen yet.
They have confirmed that they're doing something new and special with Legendary Creature card frames. The rest should be largely unchanged. For cards that have both ability text and flavor text, there will now be a horizontal bar in the text box dividing them from one another.
I am really curious, if the appearance of the Llanowar Elves in the Chapter "New Terms: Various Nonfunctional Changes" really is a commitment, that they will be in the set.
This is strange, because they told us, that Mana Ramp Creatures for 1 are too powerful.
Does someone has a count for how many cards are on the FAQ? Are there still any missing?
Yes its in the set Forsythe confirmed it already.
Just because the flawed Dev team previously stated 1cmc dorks are too strong, doesnt make it true. After all, thats the flawed Dev team that gave us how many bad standards in a row?
They didn't say they were too strong. They said the presence of 1cmc dorks limited development's ability to diversify the 3cmc slot and also resulted in decks whose outcomes were too dependent on having the dork in the opening hand (w/l rates were very different if those decks did or did not have the dork in their opening hand).

I was referring to hosing them. I tried using Maulfist Revolutionary and Quarry Hauler before to add extra counters onto planeswalkers but it wouldn't consistently beat enough of the high profile decks to make it worth pursuing. The camel will let you keep removing a counter from a saga, presuming you have a way of being able to blink it consistently.

And they 'solved' this problem by printing them in the same set as a GGG 5/4 with Daunt?!
I would have figured the way to make outcomes less dependent on a T1 dork would be to make green 3-drops LESS bomby, not more. Make it so that while you would be able to cast a 3-drop on T2, just make sure that it doesn't have, like, 5 power and evasion.

Which is completely irrelevant, if your sets have answers. :]
In the end, its odd, but 1cmc dorks dont rule formats (Deathrite doesnt count) if the formats are robust.
EDIT: Corrected sentence
I'm trying to get people to talk about Commander Limited over in Speculation, as I got only crickets both times I tried to talk about it in this thread.

Where did you hear it being referred to as "Wizard"?
Solemnity.

There are six already, but yeah, hopefully some low cmc ones in this set.

Just picked up a playset of Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter for just that reason.

It should make all of us feel better that this spoiler is 100% Wizards' fault. There was no third-party criminal act to blame this on.
