The Japanese spoiler is fully released. If you want to see the cards you can change the "en" to "jp"...then click on an image you don't recognize and change the jp back to en to figure out what card it is.
Rancor doesn't suck. Boros Charm is good, Chupacabra is solid....but Swiftfoot Boots instead of Lightning Greaves, StP instead of Path, and no Push? I will never understand the thought process of choosing one card when another card is even just slightly but still absolutely a better call. Printing the better versions that are still very much uncommon wouldn't have hurt ANYTHING. Swords instead of Path, and Boots instead of Greaves, those are the hardest to swallow.
Still, there are more non-chaff cards in that last wave than I expected. It's still not a great set imho, but it beats the pants off of most of these sets in that area. Might be the best c/u selection since the original.

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
Rancor, Cultivate, Regrowth, Utopia Sprawl, Nettle Sentinel, Iwamori of the Open Fist (at uncommon), Swords to Plowshares, Counterspell, Street Wraith, Browbeat, Blightning, Boros Charm, Nihil Spellbomb, and Swiftfoot Boots are the notable ones I saw. Not bad for final day cards.
Edit: Horseshoe Crab and Quicksilver Dagger is one of my all-time favorite combos (the first combo deck I ever built, actually). That'll be a powerhouse limited combo.

Nettle Sentinel wasn't a final day card, it was spoiled earlier this week.
Not a ton here to salvage the set, but I admit there was plenty of stuff hitting the nostalgia button for me especially Angelic Page. Angelic Page is the first card I ever saw, 20 years ago, and it was love for the game at first sight. I only wish they'd kept the Rebecca Guay art of the original.
To summarize:
#Value: Utopia Sprawl was up to like seven bucks which is bonkers, much-needed reprint.
Spicy? Pauper downshift: Jackal Pup is red's first 2-power 1 drop that isn't completely unplayable garbage. Probably not good enough to make Sligh Red a thing in pauper, but promising.
Lots of surprises of what isn't here though; in particular I feel like Rhystic Study is a huuuuuuge miss. Fatal Push and Chainer's Edict being absent at least makes some sort of sense.

I like the set overall. My biggest disappointment by far is that there's a bunch of assembly worker stuff going on, but no Urza's Factory. All I want is an Assembly-Worker token!
On the common front: Nettle Sentinel, Cultivate, and Unearth were over a buck before this. The only modern-frame printings of Arcane Denial before this were over $2 (not that they'll hold that here, but it's nice that people who want a modern frame version of a common will now be able to get it at a common price), and this will be its first foil (its previous modern frame printings were in commander decks).

This set is trash. The best thing about this will be getting those filter lands cheaper for EDH and limited (even that's iffy).

A lot of downshift to make up for all the upshift in rarities.

I do like the new Disenchant art, using such old ones from the past were a bit annoying.
There are a lot of good choices at common and uncommon. I feel sorry for this set because I think it's kinda gotta bomb.

No exaggeration: It has been in three of the last four sets that Wizards has released. Are they just trolling us at this point?
Anyhow, the set is really bad. I mean, if they hadn't unbanned Jace, it would have been worse, but still, it's really bad.
They need to retire Masters sets and just do Conspiracy-type sets for reprints from now on.
