Each player chooses any number of creatures he or she controls with total power 4 or less
If the wording is exactly that, that means the number of creatures each player can save is very limited: If your board is a mass of 4/4s, you get to save only one of them, but if, say you have many Doran enablers (including Doran itself), the Doran player potentially don't have to sacrifice anyone at all.
Now, aside from Teferi's Protection and such, is there any card that temporarily Downsize your army, or mass pump your enemy's army?
I actually think this does a lot for a standard with lots of powerful creatures. Dumps on Hazoret, Scarab God, overly large long tusk cubs and the majority of the dinosaurs that are relevant. Obviously pretty ok in EDH for getting rid of scary indestructible creatures but there are still plenty of annoying utility creatures that can avoid it.

EDH BRGKresh the BloodbraidedBRG, A box of lands and ideas.
Modern: RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.

It's too bad The Scarab God doesn't die permanently.
That's not a slight against this card, but I think it's worth noting that.
That said, I just want to see someone cast shrink effects on their own creatures just to nullify this. Marsh Gas is tech?

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
On the flip side, this is a white card that's flavored specifically as part of a white/black faction, thus having slightly black names on white cards (and probably vice versa) is a way to emphasize the connection of the two colors.

Good idea, but reducing your creatures' toughness as well might backfire on you....
At least your idea reminds me to Mirrorweave, which you can use to force token makers to suffer like you do.

Better than that. It looks at total power.

This looks like a job for Superman!
Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
