Enrage - Whenever "Banisher Dino" is dealt damage, exile target creature an opponent controls until "Banisher Dino" leaves the battlefield.
is what I found on Mythic Spoiler's translation
If that's true, that's very good. Possibly good enough to see Standard play. They're really pushing enrage super hard with some of these abilities, but the creatures themselves aren't necessarily great. At 5 mana, this may actually see play, but it's gotta stay alive.
Ya it's like the BIG push to make people use enrage... which I don't think is great.
The cost and toughness is right... but where it fits will be the issue and are the enablers worth it?

The problem with all these creatures is they do nothing the turn they come down for a lot of mana. And even the following turn, you still have to enable enrage. If you have 3 or 4 enrage creatures on the battlefield, things get interesting, but the problem is we have a ton of 4+ mana enrage creatures and very few 1-3 mana enrage creatures. Enrage is very much a late game ability with regards to the cards they've printed. I really like the ability, but it's an ability you need to have a shell with and they're too easy to deal with. We've seen so many interesting enrage designs, but so few seem constructed playable.
I'm not a fan of enrage, but this can definitely chill in casual dinos. Is this the only mono white Therapod dino so far? That's kinda strange. This shoulda been a different dinosaur.

That new dino-tutor-on-a-stick makes it a bit better, it’s good at what it does, and you’re always packing cost reduction effects for these bad boys. I think enrage will surprise a lot of people.
It has a real win-moar problem as an enrage trigger. Either you have combo cards / combat tricks / etc to make it activate, or the ability is only relevant when you're in an advantageous board state anyway and your opponent wants to chump it or attack into it with weaker creatures. Like the Ceratops that was spoiled, and unlike the polyraptor, this is an enrage trigger that does nothing when the creature dies in combat. And even when it does do something in discouraging enemy attacks/blocks against someone who can't kill it, the ability would only matter if they had multiple weak creatures- if they've only got 1 chumper, then the exile trigger is irrelevant, the chumper dies in combat. If they have a bigger creature or deathtouch, they just kill it.
I think a good comparison is phyrexian obliterator, because obliterator's trigger was relevant even against bigger threats (and how!) that it wouldn't survive, and made itself much like a punisher-moat when untapped or pseudo-unblockable when attacking.
Now maybe these enrage triggers will be breathed combo power by strong enablers, something far more practical than the forerunner of the empire that was spoiled. Maybe something efficient will be spoiled. But so far, they don't look great in a vacuum
anyway all thats pointless rambling since he'll be in rotation with angel of sanctions for a long while and thus be guaranteed to see no play at all
I really hope there are more "whirlwind"(to use the Hearthstone term) effects otherwise there are like two in the block and relying on combat and blocking and your opponent to trigger enrage is just not reliable enough.
Enrage and by extension, most of the dinosaurs, definitely feel earmarked for Commander.
With Ixalan it felt like there was a chance that Wizards could go either way with Dino’s. But, as these previews for Rivals continue to roll out it seems more and more clear that dinosaurs fit better in Commander.
Honestly, the creature type itself just naturally feels like a fit for Timmy. And Timmy loves Commander so maybe this is the right way to go.
The problem with all these creatures is they do nothing the turn they come down for a lot of mana. And even the following turn, you still have to enable enrage.
Isn't that exactly the issue the Forerunner of the Empire solves with its "Every Dinosaur entering the battlefield triggers all your enrage for free"-ability?
EDIT:
I want to mention that the flavor of this card implies that the person in the picture either survives getting swallowed for a while or the Dinosaur doesn't actually eat them, but just walks around with people hanging from its maw like the toy of a derpy puppy and now that I think about it that's equal parts horrifying and adorable.
WTF now we have a Dino that imprisons their meals instead of eating them.
WTF
It would be cool if over time they were digested. Because its not them being imprisoned its being swallowed like Colossal Whale and when it dies the swallowed dudes break free. But if after some number of turns they were unable to be returned that'd be some sweet flavor.

I agree. You would think a predator eating something would remove it for good.
It would have been funny to see a vampire hanging from his/her cape as a giant sauropod bites down on his cape and lifts him/her the air. Vampire hits giant dinosaur... dinosaur lifts him high... vampire doesn't come down until dinosaur is removed. Would have fit the mechanic so much better and given a good laugh as well.

I like it a 5/5 for 5 (which in dino decks you will ramp so you can get out sooner) and your opponents won't want to block it.

The enrage ability does seem like a flavor fail. How are you gonna have a dino that just "exiles"? Then gives them all back? Feels like something a big flying dino could do, but not this predator.
Not exactly sure what it does, will need a translation. Something enrage related, though.

The 3R dino tutor dude will have a lot work to do to make these dinos somewhat playable.

And near the beginning enchantment or artifact removal dinosaur pop up (one use) we need one that can trigger multiple times easily
We really need a dinosaur recursion on a stick this would make the artifact/enchantment removal dinosaur even more playable.
