You block with him and another chump, you fight your chump, you die against the attacker (Since it says that it has to die this turn, not during the capacity) and the deal is done without the need of a 4+ force creature.
I was going to put out this line if no one else did. You're exactly correct. Also, this is an interesting way to activate "Revolt" when needed.
This is interesting because now I'm wonder just how many Flip Lands we are getting and on what theme
At first I was thinking it was 10 two color flip lands but based on what we have seen so far maybe its 5 enemy color flip lands and 5 random ones.
As for this card itself while the land is pretty good the hoops seem just a little too awkward to jump through, a bomb in limited and likely useful in some specific EDH decks although not a card you can afford to just throw around in any deck, Yasova DragonclawProssh, Skyraider of KherBreya, Etherium Shaper are three who come to mind that easily make decent use of this card
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary

The way it's worded, it looks like it doesn't have to literally "lose the fight" to flip. Like you could just make it fight a Wall of Stone and then sacrifice it or something.
Also, this totally looks like it was inspired by Hellboy 2: The Golden Army.
I could actually see potentially playing this in tokens in standard as a 1 or 2 of. You always have a bunch of extra tokens lying around, and a VERY easy sacrifice outlet in Hidden Stockpile, so flipping the thing shouldn't be too difficult to do. And once you've flipped it, it generates ENORMOUS tokens that can pretty easily take over the game (adanto first fort is already pretty strong, so imagine having 2 different lands that can generate tokens, with one of those generating 4/4s)
Xenoblade? In my mtg? It's more likely than you think!
I seriously love the land backside, but that fight flip-condition on the front is uh... strange, to say the least. How does this even make sense lore-wise that it can only fight your own guys? Is this a trial to enter the golden city? But if you control it that means your golem ally is punching you in the face to prove your worth? I'm overthinking this way too much... time to wait for the english version.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.

You gotta reverse engineer it by breaking it first. And if you let someone else do the breaking you may not get all the scraps.
Wait...is Golden Guardian not an Artifact creature? Golem's usually are and the card style seems to indicate that, yet it's not in the description. I was thinking this with Syndicate Trafficker?

Seems kind of hilarious with Iroas, God of Victory. Just fight your guys after you've declared attackers and the Golem is the only thing that goes down.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
The key is that the land is not legendary, so if you have two of these guys out, you can block something then fight each other and they both die and you get two lands that make golem. If I were to play these in standard I'd play a full 4 in the deck.

Except that doesn't work. The Golem will only transform if you resolve that golem's ability, and then that golem dies that turn. So if you had two, activated one of their abilities to have one fight the other, both would die but only the one that you activated would return transformed. If you tried to activate the second in response to the first, then only one of the fight abilities would resolve, and you still only get the one land.

Doesn't flip him, but 2 mana for 4 damage to the face is pretty good I guess.

The problem is that you HAVE to activate the fight trigger for it to flip.

Am professional Japanese translator. Definitely need to fight your own creature.

's my best guess, at any rate.
That is a small price to pay to gain access to the transformed land.
On phasing:
Aside from something like Garruk, the Veil-Cursed who can churn out deathpokers, this looks uber strange to me....
