Decks running Profane Procession will have preemptively hosed red decks in Standard with a turn 1 Authority of the Consuls. Their haste creatures can hurry up and tap themselves. Do you know how much enchantment hate red has access to in Standard? None.
That's true! Its so simple that I don't know why every standard deck hasn't just jammed 4 AoC and called it a day. I've been doing it wrong this whole time. Been too worried about a bazillion 1/1 tokens, sorceries that win the game on resolution, hexproof hydras, and turn 4 6/6 flying, vigilant, haste, lifelinking angels. AoC isn't so good against those threats. But since this card handles that stuf...hey...wait a minute. This card doesn't handle those things at all!
You almost got me. Such a kidder.
technically speaking its a turn 4 6/6 flying, vigilant, haste, lifelinking zombie

Reading comprehension is a pro skill. It hoses ranumap red along with Authority. It doesn't beat all decks in the format, nor should any card ever expect to.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
I mean, scour from existence is competing with other 1-for-1 removal, of which every color even green has more efficient methods. This enchantment being repeatable is the deal: it can 3-for-1 on the removal side, then starts going nutty bringing them back. If all you were getting was a single removed creature on turn 5 at instant speed, then final reward would be better, let alone hour of glory or vraska's contempt. But none of those removal spells can be cast on turn 5, 6 and 7 to answer whatever your opponent casts each turn.
That's why the measure of playability is one of how slow the format can be, not one of how efficient the card is- that sky high cost is returning sky high returns, its a ludicrous amount of advantage to poop out of a single card, its just incredibly slow
Emphasis on it's just incredibly slow.
You could argue that Spawnsire of Ulamog is efficient and that it offers an insane amount of board presence and card advantage, but it's still not a good card.
Except that you can't pay Spawnspires cost over multiple turns. This you can. 5 mana at instant speed every turn is solid, but not spectacular. Certain decks will like it, but it isn't a "Slam in every Orzhov deck" card.

Okay. I'll bite. Let's have a serious discussion on the matter. You contend that Profane Procession 'hoses ramunap red.' I would like to improve my understanding of this statement so what, exactly, leads you to that evaluation?
This is no doubt slow. In Standard this might be a decent control card, but it still only has so many uses. Journey to Eternity seems like higher upside in the long run when it comes to Commander. This does seem like it will be used more in Standard, potentially.
I like this for my Queen Marchesa EDH deck. 8 mana to remove the first thing is expensive, but it's repeatable removal and sometimes you get to steal stuff. I'd say this is "playable in EDH" but not because the card is bad; It helps repeatedly remove commanders, which typically will end up in the command zone so you'll keep doing that, since they won't be exiled. That makes this an effective rattlesnake, and sometimes it becomes an extra land with extra value.
In Marchesa it comes down turn 3, turn 4 I play my commander and from then on I can just sit behind it, daring people to attack me.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!
RW usually doesn't do draws without drawback, specific circumstances (cantrips, casting Equipment spells and such) or cost.
White is secondary when it comes to getting lands and red in this world does ramp through treasure tokens, so it's not completely unbelievable to think it could do that. Now with that said I'm sure it won't do that and just be another combat related ability, but one can hope for something different.
Slow but good. Solid SB card in control for the mirror or other slow match-ups. Resolving this ensures you can exile your opponent's god and get it back on your side later.
I could see Shoota Yasooka vs. someone else grindingly exiling each other's gods repeatedly...
But...uhhh...It doesn't do anything but sit there at 3cmc? The enchantment itself has no ETB.
DOH!
Ok poop. For some reason (probably the choppy looking translation stuff) I thought you got an exile out of initial cast. Now this card stinks of WotC still being too careful with removal.
Where's my doom blade.
Yeah, for a 5 CMC it should have, at least, an ETB trigger to exile something...
As always, lowering the power of Black-White and giving it to Black-Green (Like the Legendary Enchantments of this set) Vindicate turned into Maelstrom Pulse / Abrupt Decay...
Now, Graveyard Recursion leaves Black-White too to go to Black-Green... And we get a VERY INTENSIVE Mana card that is too slow to do anything soon enough to survive...
It's too slow, even for EDH. This is very likely the weakest of the cycle so far.
You need to pay 4WWBB just to exile one creature. Scour of Existence isn't even really good enough to see play in most EDH decks. This is also an enchantment that is vulnerable to removal and has to be initially played at sorcery speed.
To flip it you need to invest 10WWWWBBBB (that's 18 mana folks). Then you need to pay another 4 mana and tap it to get one creature back.

Not what I said. You responded to a person who said that Authority of the Consuls and this card hose Ranumap because as a mono-red deck, it lacks enchantment removal. You made the claim that that combination does not work on the entire standard field. I explained why it not being as effective against other decks isn't relevant.

Oh. My bad. When you said, quote, 'It hoses ramunap red along with Authority,' you didn't actually mean it hoses ramunap red along with Authority. Dunno how I could have misunderstood. Must be that reading cromprewhatsit I apparently struggle with. But no worries! I asked you to help me understand your statement and I certainly have a better understanding now and will endeavor to refine my reading thigamajig in the future to avoid such misunderstandings.
As an aside, my point didn't underscore Profane Procession's inability to beat all the decks in Standard. It was intended to illustrate that it doesn't beat *any* of the decks in Standard. I'm totally onboard with a card that's good in some matches and suboptimal in others. That defines virtually everything. But when a card has glaring inadequacies against everything...well...even a merely semi-literate man, such as myself, can discern a problem.
