Paladin of Atonement1W Creature — Vampire Knight (Rare)
At the beginning of each upkeep, if you lost life last turn, put a +1/+1 counter on Paladin of Atonement.
When Paladin of Atonement dies, you gain life equal to its toughness. For every wound there is a blessing; for every death, a reckoning.

Can trigger itself off painlands and fetchlands and shocklands and so on, to grow rather fast. But its quite vulnerable at instant speed, and needs to grow quite a bit to be worth it. If you played this turn 2 with a painland and then took damage from an opponent its a 3/3 on turn 3 which isn't remarkable, but then it could be a 5/5 just from your lands, then 7/7 on turn 5, and recouping your lost life when it dies.
Wow, on each upkeep. That's really solid.
Day 2 of spoilers has the ones I want, looks like.
