Playing millions of cards every turn... Slowly and systematically obliterating any chance my opponent has of winning... Clicking the multitude of locking mechanisms into place... Not even trying to win myself until turn 10+ once I have nigh absolute control... Watching my opponent desperately trying to navigate the labyrinthine prison that I've constructed... Seeing the light of hope fade and ultimately extinguished in an excruciatingly slow manner... THAT'S fun Magic.
We have 2-3 users that are dramatically making this thread incomprehensible and non-productive for anyone else to possibly join in the discussion. This needs to change.
Every time I see [ktkenshinx] post in here, I get the impression of a stern dad walking in on a bunch of kids trying to do something dumb and just shaking his head in disappointment.
Near Mint: The same as Slightly Played, but we threw some Altoids in the box we stored it in to cover up the scent of dead mice. Slightly Played: The base condition for all MTG cards. This card looks OK, but there’s one minor annoying ding in it that will always irritate and distract you whenever you draw it. Moderately Played: This card looks like it survived the Tet Offensive tucked inside the waistband of GI underwear. It may smell like it, too. Heavily Played: This card looks like the remains of Mohammed Atta’s passport after 9/11. It may be playable if you double-sleeve it to stop the chunks from falling out. The condition formerly known as "Washing Machine Grade" Damaged: This card is the unfortunate victim of a Mirrorweave/March of the Machines/Chaos Confetti/Mindslaver combo.
[M]aking counterfeit cards is the absolute height of dishonesty. Ask yourself this question: Since most people...are totally cool with the use of proxies...what purpose do [high] quality counterfeit cards serve?
Nice at least she replaces herself. As RedGauntlet said better as one of the 99 for Edgar but she could get nasty.

She's going in my Edgar vampire tribal deck, but she's pretty "meh" in terms of coolness. I was hoping for something really wild like a Vampire reanimator, or something more top end for vampires.
Actually, the new Merfolk legends abilities would have been much cooler on her. Tapping vampires for effects would have been great since you can actually make a reasonable amount of them.
I feel like she's going to just eat removal 9/10 times I play her and I get a 1/1 lifelink for the trade.
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.
I really wish she had lifelink and deathtouch. This isn't what the vampire deck needs in standard; Kumena is great for Merfolk and I hoped the legend of Elenda would've shown on her card
Also, isn't that sentence in the flavor text grammatically incorrect, too?

Yeah, she's a threat. There are 9,373 creatures in Magic. All of them die to removal. If you are worried about her eating removal, then don't play creatures. Problem solved.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
She doesn't need to be in a vampire deck to be of use, unlike Kumena. Elenda's apparently best for token decks that lead to frequent deaths, and she benefits a lot from Opal Palace and voltron route.

I love the design but not the rate. Deathtouch or 2 power would have been a bare minimum to make her playable in Standard. Right now I think she starts too small.

Maybe we'll see a lord for vampires at CMC 3? If you can have things that boost her power you get back what ou paid for with her.

Yeah i guess yal right. I don't have a Markov deck and i thought she would help but i guess she's abit too nerfed to be a betetr card. A shame really, because the card is really cool but falls flat in the power department. The 1/1 really killed it.
Isn't her flavour text grammatically incorrect? Should be 'has ended' instead of 'is ended'.
I immediately thought of Game of Thrones (i.e., "...and now his watch is ended.") -- I imagine this is similar, in that an archaic form of tense was used for literary effect.
1/1 legendary mythic... this is just too far below rate for standard
Vampires could use more than a gimmick to hit playability.
With all the indestructible we've seen lately we should be seeing at least one more exile removal in this set too.

honestly if she was just a 2/2 naturally she would be perfect but starting as a 1/1 just seems miserable

I'm not so sure. She doesn't really advance Edgar's gameplan, especially since the 4-drop spot is so fight already.

Nope. I'd rather play the plethora of premier four drops like I have in Edgar already.

tnx mate, couldn't think of anything to make this spoiler be good or nice(except EDH). U just made me realy want to build bw tokens in standard.
