I hope we get more forms in the future. This is cheaper than Dragon and gives you 3 times more "power and toughness", but in exchange, you can't "fly" and it's limited to making you fight creatures.
I have been wanting more form cards for forever. I dig this card. I dont know what I'd do with it but I dig it. Definitely a card that makes me wish I could play more colors in Trostani without taking her out of the zone.
Though I suppose you can play with some life gain shenanigans.
Pretty much sums it up for me as well. Looks like hot garbage. Why would you ever want the last line of text to resolve? Almost sounds like "At the beginning of your upkeep you lose the game."
Are we to assume there is some 15/15 Dino in this set as well?

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

This isn't meant to be a card for competitive crowds much like Form of the Dragon wasn't. Form of the Dragon is superior effect-wise, but Dinos can't breathe fire (hence the fighting) and most of them can't fly.
As for the 15/15 thing, I'd say that's to justify it not resetting your life total each turn.
Its a 'form of' rare. Can we really fault it for putting flavor and vorthos mechanics over being some all-upside constructed spike card? The difference between turning yourself into a dragon and a dinosaur is that dinosaurs are much fatter and rub all over each other in a tangle. The dragon can fly over them and shoot fireballs sure, the dinosaurs just smack into one another. You become the predator.
In terms of practicality, this is letting you regain life and kill creatures from a 6-drop. If you've already stalled a board and need to stabilize and regain position you could cement a lead by picking off jumping up your life total and picking off smaller creatures, then hopefully combine it with some lifegain/removal before you kill yourself with it. Even then its not really a good card.
Okay, sorry I reread the card and thought it did 15 points of damage back to you, causing you to lose the game. My mistake.
That makes it better, but not by much. Bouncing it each turn could keep you on a 15 life total. Maybe someone will brew something interesting with it.

I wish this card had an alternative condition that allowed you to deal some amount of damage directly to the player if they had no creatures for you to fight.
Keeping the damage from fighting will be hard to keep up with, but it could give you a few extra life to find something if you play this at a low life total. It's a tricky card, for sure.
Your life total is probably lower than 15 at the beginning of your fifth or sixth turn, so the first condition helps. After that, it counts as a free kill spell every upkeep--there is no downside here, even with the second condition letting the other creature deal damage to you. If you are worried about that damage, though, then just remember that Life Goes On.
I really want to set this up with Soul-Scar Mage and Nest of Scarabs, though--kill a creature (even an indestructible one) and get 15 insects every upkeep? That sounds like a fun plan.
Welp, guess I'll just have to give my opponent creatures... not that hard to do.
To be fair, they clearly wanted to keep it a mandatory trigger but didn't want it to be too much backfiring, I think stuffy doll mattered less in their templating than making sure you don't have to blow up your own creatures when your opponent has none.

Quick rules question: if you deal damage as -1/-1 counters (as with Soul-Scar Mage) will that reduce the damage the creature does to you? I assume not, but my rules knowledge is not encyclopedic. (Basically, I'm not sure if last-known value is used here and whether it updates.)

Go Boros for life gain? Strange that you cannot heal yourself for 15 with Huatli.
