Well this raises a bunch of random questions in my mind:
1.) Will Karn's appearance here bring New Phyrexia back into the story in some way?
2.) Will Ajani recruit Karn to aid in the fight against Nicol Bolas?
3.) Will Teferi still be a lowly legendary creature?
4.) Will suspend make a return, especially with Jhoira here?
5.) What role will Jhoira and Teferi have in this storyline?
6.) Will Jodah also be in the set, considering IIRC he and Jhoira are BFFs (at minimum)?
7.) What abilities will Karn's PW card have here (assuming he gets one, which he should)?
The tag is "Gather Legends" so does this mean that there will be a legendary theme given we already know that Jaya will be part of this set.
I would like to see this theme revisited in a non-Kamigawa setting. Should be fun, especially for Commander players. At this point I'm a lot more hyped to hear about this set than Rivals.

The more i hear about Dominaria 2018, the more i feel like it's just going to be a throwback set, instead of showing new characters and the aftermath zones, the 3 times they showed us Dominaria 2018 they chose to reveal character we already know (extremely well btw)
Also, Karn is a good guy, and he knows that wherever he goes a "New" Phyrexia will follow, he is literally a walking Phyrexial Oil spawn, wtf would he risk going to Dominaria?.

Wasn't Karn cleansed of the oil by Melira and Venser?
Why exactly? Even if you aren't into old-school MTG, all 3 of these guys appeared in the game from Time Spiral onwards, all 3 have had their shot in the limelight in Commander, and Karn here is likely getting a new PW card.
We get a jhoira card that is u/r and oriented around artifacts
Her first card is great, but misses the mark in every possible way when it came to jhoira's flavor. She was established time and again as an artificer, and instead we got a time magic oriented wizard. On top of that, we've consistently been denied a u/r artifacts centric walker despite all the pieces being there and it even being rumored within but ultimately left out of kaladesh block

She wasn't alone in having her artificer aspect left out of her card. Venser was also an artificer, but they focused exclusively on his teleportation magic with his cards.

I remember Karn and Teferi from Mirage and the Weatherlight. But Jhoira's contribution to old-school mtg seems to be all of Jhoira's Toolbox?
She's the central figure featured in Tinker and a handful of cards from Urza's Legacy onward throughout the Weatherlight saga in card art and flavour text, among other things.
If it's a legendary theme, then here's hoping for Grandeur as a recurring mechanic! I wonder if Dominaria will have a gimmick like Time Spiral with timeshifted cards but in a different theme. Maybe that might be our "Masterpiece" bit for the set.

Shes also a key player in the development of multiple aspects of the story from that period, from urza, teferi, tolaria to karn and beyond. You could make the argument that without her everything on tolaria including its time bubbles would not have happened
3.) Will Teferi still be a lowly legendary creature?
While we saw him spark-less last time, we see other walkers get a new spark or reignite their old one and with his popularity I'd say that more likely to happen then not.
Which lead to wonder how many walker we going to see since people had guessed;
Liliana B
Ajani GW
and it looks like we'll see;

That to me looks like color balance. I'd be fine with Teferi in a vacuum, especially since it's been so long that we've gotten a monoblue PW in Standard that wasn't Jace, but would it be OK for Jace and a Teferi PW card to co-exist in Standard?
I think it would be cool to see a Gatewatch/Story Circle mission to wrest the technology that allows interplanar travel from Tezzeret and Bolas and establish a new non-planeswalker group in a skyship hopping the multiverse. The new crew could include Teferi, Jiora, maybe Jaya. Although I imagine it would take quite a bit of time to get to that point as I expect the technology to be used to transport phyrexians beforehand.

New Vehicle confirmed.
Seriously though, as much as some might hate them, I like that Vehicles have a proper mechanic tied to them now.
Edgar Markov - Bloodied Fangs
Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca - Jade Daggers
Narset, Enlightened Master - Monk Mastery
Meren of Clan Nel Toth - Necromancy love

The woman on the left of Teferi. Her card is Jhoira of the Ghitu, and she's virtually ageless in the story (so she's pretty old).

If Dominaria is a legends-matter set, the change to planeswalkers makes even more sense now IMO.
