There's a post on Facebook from Good Games Australia saying that there was a box of unstable where all the basic lands in each booster was foil?!! Has anyone cracked a similar box?

I haven't heard of anything like this. Can you provide a link to this Facebook post?
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Wow wow wow!!! So we have another 'God box' opener!
I wouldnt trust the 1 post person that writes this message.
Anyway.
Chances are this exists, but thats probably more a packaging error and not really extremely likely to happen.
This could even mean that a single box has all the foil lands that would otherwise be in other boxes ; so they dont have foil lands because of this.
So that puts the whole deal in a very very dark light, if that is the case ... (and with stories of 1 foil land per 3+ displays might be something).

How many lands are typically in a box of Unstable?
There's 36 packs in each box of Unstable. Each pack has either a basic land, or very rarely a Steamflogger Boss in place of the basic land. So that's generally 36 basic lands, plus if you're lucky you could have a foil basic in there somewhere.
I can confirm that a close friend of mine split a box with his friend and ended up with a god box. Showed me the pic as proof, though sadly I do not know how to link pictures here or I'd upload it.
God boxes exist, though it most definitely is a printing error.
My take on "God Boxes": It's not really worth worrying about. The issue is that while they may exist and it's kind of cool if they do exist, the chances of getting one is about as good as getting struck by lightning because the frequency of the boxes is so low not even major singles sellers are able to deny or confirm they exist. Also there's a spot light on the whole "one foil land per case" issue that some collectors are complaining about and that is going to help fuel rumors. I still remember Kaladesh had rumors of rare cards from alpha or something showing up in booster packs and that was a thing back last year.

I think that it's a printing error to be honest. There's a few reasons why I think so.
One) Unhinged had a 2 foil basics per box rarity distribution. I'm not sure the algorithms nowadays, but I'd like to assume wizards knows that we like foils and lands and foil lands and would like to give us the possibility to open them more consistently than one in every 4 boxes as the theory is right now.
Two) the land slot also has a random black bordered rare on it that messes with the distribution of the lands as it is. Again, we don't know the algorithms, but things are different now from back then and there have been issues with the new borders and how the machine correctly distributes the cards in the packs.
Three) there's also another distribution anomaly in the contraptions. There are two per pack. This plus another sheet for the basics, plus another sheet for the silver bordered cards, plus the alternate printings of those 13 cards are alot of variables to handle and I personally believe that the card machine sorta freaked out and distributed the foil lands as regular lands. Which would explain why there is one in every pack in a "god box" it would also explain why my friend ended up with two foils in a pack (yes that's two foil lands in a single pack) if the machine was distributing them as nonfoil basics.

Youtuber Rudy from Alpha Investments kind of confirmed this btw.
I think it might have been a joke.
