A lot of these would be great in Limited (particularly Angrath)...which is a shame since they'll never be played in Limited due to being PW deck cards.

They say there are six legendary dinos separate from the rest... So we are probably getting a 5-color one as well. Interesting...
Or colorless.
Nah, five-color is more likely - I'm excited to see that one.
Now I am worried that it will be Eldrazi...
I vaguely thought that at first, but "Legendary Creature - Elder Eldrazi Dinosaur" would be a bit much to fit on a typeline (the article did explicitly promise that the six would all be Elder Dinosaurs).
Also cool that "bad" Vraska's ultimate is reminiscent of her original version's ultimate.
While the two versions have an awful lot in common, Vraska's RTR version was so bad that the PW deck version gets her a sizable upgrade for a 1 CMC increase.
1. She's mono-colored, so she fits into more decks
2. The +2 does, well, not nothing, and it charges the -3 faster
3. The -3 is worse, but it gets charged faster by the +2 as opposed to a +1
4. The ultimate takes an additional turn to charge, but it actually wins the game the turn she uses it (at least, it does so in more scenarios than 3 non-evasive tokens can)
Vraska looks strong for a intro deck walker. Her plus does require you to be ahead, but she can nab the biggest threat and hang around.
She may be too expensive, but I could almost see her in modern BW tokens. Her plus mimics sorin, she removes anything annoying your fliers, and her ult gives them an out to infinite life. It's not amazing, but thinking that way over an intro deck walker is exciting as I hope they ustilize this space more for slightly more competitive cards to help boost attendance.
That 2/1 that drains if you control a Vraska is also pretty filthy. That's not a bad amount of reach for a 2 drop when you want to curve into your stronger cards anyway. (Yes it's no long tusk cub, but I like it).
Angrath feels like an improved huatli with a much less limiting tribe. If the print more pirates then he gets more casual friendly over time. Dino's are much more restrictive with how often they can show up. The concern being that the lines between rogue and pirate will begin to blur and step on each other's toes in the next few years.
Both of these PW's are significantly better than the average Intro Planeswalker.
Exactly my thoughts, as well. A "crumby" PW with an alternate win con like Vraska's or a one-sided board wipe like Angrath's is definitely not 100% junk.
If it is colorless, it's more likely to be Ugin-related than Eldrazi-related. There's a running theory that Ugin may be behind some of the events in Ixalan's past including setting up the Eternal Sun and Orazca, and that these Elder Dinosaurs may be something spawned from Ugin's Dragon Tempest effect - recall that the last Elders we saw were Ugin-spawned Dragons that then amassed power for centuries.

The Dragon Tempest, afawk, only applies to Tarkir proper - not everywhere Ugin goes (how many Dragons from Zendikar do you know?) but otherwise this sounds not implausible, even though I still currently think five-color is a bit more likely.

Ugin never stayed on Zendikar for a prolonged period of time, though. Tarkir was his home base, and if he was running a sustained experiment on Ixalan (something with the Eternal Sun as a containment device for potentially locking the Eldrazi down maybe?) it's possible he was either there long enough, or maybe left a part of himself there, that there was some amount of Tempest effect.

Sure, that's possible - or he could have consciously created an incorruptible (read: colorless, not liable to influence by the colored factions) guardian for the Sun.

I think it has to be; look at the card numbers. Angrath comes directly after Vraska's Scorn, instead of there being a dual land there like usual. So there's no dual land in Vraska's deck, i.e. it's monoblack.

It looks like the Goblin will be Angrath's PW-deck exclusive common and the Vamp Vraska's.
