That rare dino sure is better than a lot of mythics. I like the infernal spawn of evil vibe... when you reveal it to pay B, don't forget to say "it's coming!"
Kinda ironic that we currently have no good PW deck in standard. Maybe we'll get a real good one in rivals to justify printing the sun.
PS: I guess Bolas wants Tezzeret to make more suns and using the planar portal to send them on planes to prevent PW from interfering with his plans.
How accurate is the translation for the dino? Can you really do that reveal ability multiple times per turn? It feels like one they'd restrict to once per turn. If not, amazing!
And I hate The Immortal Sun. As if it isn't hard enough to run superfriends already.

Wh-what actually is the Immortal Sun? It looks like glowy stuff in a box, like it's the briefcase from Pulp Fiction or something.
Also, I guess Tetzimoc means there's a full cycle of Elder Dinosaurs! Holla!
The Immmortal Sun is just the sun, I think. You're seeing it through a kind of window or mural of some sort, with the sunlight streaming in.
I'm overjoyed they finally made a Null Rod for Planeswalkers, it is long, long overdue. That we get a bunch of other bonus stuff is just gravy.
Good work on this, Wizards.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.

Honestly, The Immortal Sun is so "win-more". Maybe i'm misunderstanding the "win-more" term, but this card's text is just a bunch of random semi-powerful abilities - except for planeswalker hate, of course.
That's clearly Tony Starks newest arc reactor, which makes this an insta win for me. That aside, this card is super-sweet in edh, I absolutely love it! Time to hoard those foils kiddos.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.

That's not what win-more means. Win-more means a card that gives you an advantage for already having an advantage in the first place.
And also this makes Gishath cry because is banned from using that one in edh.
That's okay - Mathas, Fiend Seeker welcomes it, as do a lot of other decks. I'm pretty sure this is meant to be a dark and twisted dinosaur, unnatural and therefore not part of the group Gishath reins over.
I really like this design, although it makes me wonder. This is design space that could be shared with Pirates to represent the Black Spot (a trope I don't think they've hit upon yet). I think it would be cool if we also got a pirate capable of adding prey counters - maybe a design similar to Bounty Hunter but with prey counters instead. And then either the pirate or the dino could kill anyone marked for death.

well this is still going to be a new edh staple
any deck with 0-2 planeswalkers will put it in by default
my O-kagachi spirit tribal has 0 so it could go in that for my cast.

This, so much this. It's going into my Jori En deck and Sigarda deck Right. This. Moment. The abilities feel mashed together, but this is basically a buffer of EDH staples. Love it. More brutal, punitive-on-gameplay cards please Wizards.

btw, translation is slightly off. The ETB effect only destroys creatures with the counter on it that an opponent controls. Mostly irrelevant, but worth pointing out.
Immortal Sun....bit ofa letdown. it's not a terrible card, I have an EDH deck that wants it, but.....meh? it's fine, but it doesn't feel like the centerpiece of an entire block. it feels like PW hate with some stuff tacked on. There is no ability that screams 'don't let Bolas get this!'. More importantly, it doesn't feel like something that could destroy a world if left unchecked. What part of it exactly feels like it could wipe out everything, or grant enormous power?

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
And I hate The Immortal Sun. As if it isn't hard enough to run superfriends already.
Planeswalkers as a card type could do with having more answers to their shenanigans IMO.
Planeswalkers die to so many things that it's flabbergasting to hear anyone make this argument. Creatures can attack them, direct damage can burn them, counterspells can stop them from ever hitting the field. Pithing Needles can lock down a specific one. Arguing that it's about time that they printed a card that completely hoses an entire card type is like arguing that they should print a card that says "Creature spells cannot be cast" (or basically, an artifact version of Aether Storm without the "Pay 4 Life to destroy" ability).
Luckily, the card is a 6 mana big fat do-nothing that will be lucky to last until your next turn. Superfriends EDH decks that aren't already running non-PW answers to artifacts should get a wake up call with this card.

I'm pretty sure over 9,000 creatures, hundreds of burn spells, counterspells, and destroy spells/effects are a fair number of answers. Yes, planeswalkers are powerful, but they are far from invulnerable. What I really hate about this card is that people aren't even going to run it as just planeswalker hate - because it does everything. Cheaper spells? Check. Card draw? Check. Bigger creatures? Check. Planeswalker nerf? Double check. If it did only three of these things, it would be good enough to run. With all four, this is going into nearly every Commander deck ever. I'd prefer a reasonable answer rather than an auto-include that does all the things.

If I had to provide an answer to this, it's the abilities that aren't the walker hose ability that collectively make this as desirable as it is.
It lets you get more action at any given time with its one-sided Howling Mine, it lets you cast more of those spells at any given time with its cost reduction, and if those resources happen to be creatures, it makes them bigger.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
