So Jumblemorph has changeling with the Lorwyn flavor filed off. Super parasitic, though, since you need to draft a whole bunch of hosts and augment cards to use him.
Teammate is interesting, but it does need you to bring a target unless you want to drag in some rando or a poor shmuck who got a bye.
Total side note but I like how people are discussing running this over itself.
Well, it has to be said that Kolaghan is clearly better than Kolaghan. Considering what BR decks usually want and how stiff the competition in this guild is, there is no way that I would run Kolaghan over Kolaghan! Kolaghan might make it in as the sixth guild card or so. Kolaghan on the other hand ranks several places below that.
It was so funny to me when they described this as a downgrade to the original Zurgo during the Pax East panel. I was thinking if this is a downgrade, they should really "downgrade" all legendary creatures. Haha.
My deck designing is quite concise at this point:
1. Come up with deck idea
2. Realize this idea is somehow fundamentally similar to another deck I have or that is commonly played in my group
3. Decide I don't want to disassemble one of my existing decks
4. Give up and do nothing
I don't see the point of this new shroud mechanic. It's strictly worse than Hexproof. Threshold is pretty bad too, Delirium is a much better mechanic and probably easier to activate.
Otherwise this card is a pretty neat guy. Dodges removal and grows into a Primal Huntbeast. 3/5

Augment is like a super parasitic Aura, but the fun of the mechanic is combining the text boxes. Let’s see what the other creaturs has in store for us.
And Jumblemorph is such an obvious UnEDH commander, and makes up for tb mechanics’ inherent card disadvantage.
What if an augment creature enters the battlefield without a host? Does +4/+4 counts as 4/4?
It cannot enter battlefield without a host,as far as we know.
Sure?
Reanimate, Elvish Piper, Grusilda combining two augments into one... A lot of options here.
Try reading the mechanic article:
"Once you've combined a host and an augment card, the resulting combined creature is a single creature for all game purposes. It attacks and blocks. You can sacrifice it or destroy it or exile it. (But please don't. Poor Pickles.) If it does leave the battlefield, both cards go wherever the creature goes. If it's put into a specific part of your library, you choose the relative order of the two cards. If an augment card finds itself on the battlefield not combined with a host, it heads to the graveyard. Even though an augment card can't survive on its own, it is a creature card. So if you cast a spell that lets you return a creature card from your graveyard to your hand, you could bring Monkey- back. Ooh, undead Monkeys!"
I find it slightly humorous to hear complaints about parasitic abilities in an Un set. The fact the set has any coherent synergies is already an improvement over last attempts. (Including Future Sight)

Also bear in Mind:
"If the augment ability fails, usually because the targeted host creature leaves the battlefield in response or something counters the ability, the card with augment remains in your hand. You can't augment onto a non-host creature."
Multiplayer commander. You get very aggressive and knock out one opponent very early, but then you cast Better Than One and rope them back in but as your teammate.

And I love how the art on Better than One makes me want to preface the card with "Cockatoo heads is..."
