Oh my God. WotC actually remembered that other zombie token arts exist, and didn't just reuse the same one they always do.
I own 27 different Zombie tokens. What are you talking about? They mix it up each year.
The Lucas Graciano one from original Innistrad. While it's true that every Standard-legal set gets new token art, supplemental stuff like Duel Decks and Commander decks reuse old art for the tokens more often than not, as did Core Sets. And they frequently reuse the exact same aforementioned art. The lack of variety is annoying on its own, considering how many different illustrations they have to choose from. To make matters worse, though, is the fact that Lucas Graciano's zombie art is bland and ugly; it's neither memorable, like the Tarkir zombies, nor pleasing to look at, like the Cynthia Sheppard Innistrad zombie. I've yet to hear anyone say that that art is their favorite; most people I've talked to would rather they reuse just about any other art.

I see the appeal of textless, foil tokens for extra pimo factor; but as a cube player, I want to keep everything well defined and functional. Personally I want double sided tokens to save physical box space. I am probably in the minority here.
It's great because of the ick factor! The thing looks disgusting, and perfectly captures what a Grixis zombie should look like
